Anyone know where to buy extra shelves for the book case?

The 409090 Beginnings Bookcase is designed, engineered, and safety tested with the shelves included in the original packaging. This product is not intended to support additional shelving or loads exceeding what is identified in the instruction book.

Can these shelves be anchored to the wall?

They can. There should be an L bracket and two screws included. If not, they should be easy to get from a local hardware store. Depending on the placement of the shelves, you may need to get a drywall anchor, which isn't included in the kit.
