MagFlex® A4 Flexible Gloss White Magnetic Sheet for Creating Magnetic Artwork, Signs or Displays

The red surface is PVC and non-magnetic. The dark-side is the magnetic side. The sheet can easily be cut using a sharp-knife or scissors. Alternatively, after scoring through the coloured side it can be torn apart by hand. The sheets stick well to a magnetic whiteboard or to the sides of a steel filing cabinet. The red surface can be written on with a marker pen or with a white-board "wipe-off" pen, and if a "wipe-off" pen is used the ink can, indeed, be wiped off the magnetic sheet. The red is quite dark so blue or black in will most likely be needed. The sheets are sufficiently flexible that they could be wrapped around a cylinder that had a diameter of about two inches. You'll only get the sheet to bend in along one axis so you couldn't wrap the sheet around a sphere or have it cling neatly to an undulating surface. I used the sheets to make representations of furniture at 1:20 scale and, having drawn an outline of the room on a magnetic whiteboard, was able to quickly try out different furniture arrangements. This method was much better than using cardboard representations because the "furniture" stayed where it was put and the floor-plan could be mounted vertically on the wall rather than having to lay it out flat on a table. Using magnetic sheet was probably faster and simpler than doing the floor plans with computer drafting software.

This is not really suitable for dry wipe markers (as many other reviewers have observed). It's clear that people are buying this for the purpose of using it with dry wipe markers because of Amazon's (faulty imo) search functionality. If the writing is left for more than a few hours, permanent marks are left. However, these marks are pretty faint and are not out of line with some dry wipe boards I have encountered in the workplace. I have not found a way to remove these marks (I have at this point tried 70% isopropyl alcohol as well as plain water, neither of which made any difference.) This is basically an A4 fridge magnet (i.e. the product sticks to an iron surface. Other magnets do not stick to this product). It adheres to the fridge well and appears very secure. If I was after a sheet to create my own fridge magnet like items with permanent markers, or something similar, this would have been a lot more suitable. Although this item doesn't work as well as it could do with dry wipe markers, it is good value for money and considering the price paid it performs adequately.

The product works really well, but don't make the same mistake as us - we printed images on sticky paper, put the sticky paper on the magnet sheet and then cut it out. But what we didn't realise, was that both sides of the magnet sheet are not created equal. Test your magnet first to find the magnetic side. One side is really strong and what you'd expect. The other side is still magnetic, but very weak and will slide down the surface - even with something as light as paper stuck to it. Imagine if you put a heavier material on it like felt! I think this is the issue that other reviewers have had. But I feel pretty confident it's just being used on the wrong side.

I got these sheets to try and print on. They're exactly the same ones we have at work with barcodes printed on by a professional printer. Since they're laminated, forget an inkjet printer. It won't work. But I found good use for them. You can glue them onto your aluminium L-shapes for instance for use in the jaws of a vise so the profiles don't keep falling off. The magnets are much stronger than printable sheets. Though I wouldn't hang them upside-down subjected to shocks. Tried that on a fork lift. They'll stick fine to any metal surface. Way better than printables. Worth the money? You bet!

Utterly useless, very weak magnetic strength.

Please note in the product description it says it has a self adhesive backing. It doesn't. The magnet is sufficient and the price is ok

This is basically a very large 'fridge magnet', fairly thick (1.8mm) which means it's easy to 'peel off'. It seems ideal for sign making, for instance. The magnet on the back is strong enough (it's not a super magnet, but is more than adequate). I don't know how well the top plastic surface will last, or if the red colour will fade over time, but for the price I'm very happy

This is exactly what I needed, we use it to write meal plans for the week and stick it to the side of the fridge. The magnet backing is strong enough to support it's own weight without fear of falling. It's also suitable to cut into smaller pieces and draw on, which we did for repeat meals on different days. Only issue I've had is not all the ink comes off when erasing, thanks to the finish used. (also the description says the magnet backing is brown, ours is a grey colour)

Bon produit , l'aimant tien bien et la couleur est bonne aussi ,c'est le même degré du logo de orange.

Thick sheet that resists bends. Good for projects especially for just a few dollars. I got a special sticker on my last visit to Hawaii and didn't want to permanently stick it anywhere, so I stuck it to this sheet and trimmed it out with normal scissors. Turned out great.
