This was a really interesting era for Batman and Gotham in general. Knightfall kicked off an increasingly desperate period during the mid-90s for Bruce Wayne/Batman resulting in desperate times for Gotham. As the cowl passes from a broken, exhausted Bruce Wayne to the unhinged Azrael, Robin and Nightwing look on anxiously as Gotham sinks into chaos driven first by Bane and then the various nutters he had released upon a city already reeling from the loss of the Batman. This epic volume collects every story from the various comic series in an uninterrupted journey to restitution for Gotham's true protector on the face of overwhelming opposition from within and without. Review not just for this closing saga but the whole trilogy, it's a total blast.

Bruce Wayne completes his recovery and returns to Gotham, where he must learn to be the Batman once more. However, an increasingly brutal Jean Paul Valley refuses to give up the cowl without a fight. After a vicious fight, Wayne banishes Valley from the Batcave and leaves Dick Grayson, the first Robin, to assume the role of Batman. Both Valley and Grayson struggle in their new lives and Commissioner Gordon feels that the city has lost faith in Batman as Tim Drake begins his work as the third Robin once more. This is an interesting, tough, storyline about identity and how various characters see themselves (and others) without the mask. Plenty of action, but reflective and melancholic in places. Dixon and his team have struck gold here.

It was a nice volume but volume 1 was the most interesting one...the story behind bane and azrael was really nice...

great book my son loves it came on time. very thick keeps people entertained for a long time. I reccomend this to everyone who is reading this. This book is all about batman getting his poweres again and taking down azreal aka batman.

What a novel this is, the end to the Knightfall series Batman vs Batman, Dick Grayson becoming Batman, all very good a great way to end the series any Batman fan must get read this at some point.

KnightsEnd is Part 3 after KnightFall and KnightQuest that concludes with (spoiler) Bruce Wayne back as the Batman.

Finally in my hand. Amazing in everyway.

That is the best Batman Saga ever!!! It brought me back to my teenager days. Maybe it's to heavy to read at kindle devices, but the whole story worths.
