They work extremely well and stay out of the way. **Q: One review says it doesn't record to the atomos ninja v and another says it does. does this cable work for external recording or does it not?** A: When you display the HDMI info, showing the camera’s settings, on the monitor, it has an intermittent connection. Atomos ninja will say “no input” for a second and then glitch back and forth occasionally. Kind of annoying. But when displaying a “clean” image that you can record externally, it works fine.
