GREEN LIFE- Aqua Globes - Indoor Outdoor Plants Watering System (Pack of 4)

Simple and easy to use. We used it when we went on a one week trip. When we came back the plants had not dried out and looked healthy. If your wife loves her plants then you should go for these and use them for your time away.I have used for one week and can say it works not sure about more lengthy duration than that.

Bought these to use on my plants when I went away for a week. It was easy to fill up and position in my plants but I was surprised that all of them were empty when I got back. I followed the instructions and watered all my plants really well prior to adding these into the soil but they still managed to completely drain into the soil in just 6 days even though the weather was very mild. Thankfully my plants didn’t suffer any severe damage but I’d have serious reservations about using these for longer than a week. If you’re away from your plants for shorter periods especially during growing season I’d have no issue recommending these.

I wasn't sure these would work but after filling them up and going away for four days, I came back to happy plants! Depending on which plant they are watering and how much light they get, the water disappears at a different rate so they definitely adapt well to each plant and its location.Make sure you measure them first, they were slightly bigger than I expected but they still look fairly inconspicuous in the room

I used these, when I was away for over 2 weeks to water my plants and herbs on the windowsill.They look good and are easy to fill and use.Only problem: The hole at the end is so big, that the water can come out too easily. I stuffed some old cardboard in it to make it sightly more difficult for the water to exit (and to exit slowly over the next 2 weeks and not come rushing out). Even with the cardboard in some cases the water came out continuously (gravity...) and collected at the bottom of my plants.Surprisingly all plants survived the two weeks, even with "wet feet".Would use again, but this might not work for all plants. My thyme died with this treatment, but they don't do well with wet feet..

I spent a long time reading and reviewing all the variations on this type of product before settling on these. I’m really pleased I did.The globes do exactly what they should, and I have had no problems with them.This is what I did: I used the handle of my wooden spoon to make a divet in the soil in the plant pot at a slight angle and as deep as I could; I filled the globe under the tap running it into the stem; as I removed the wooden spoon from the pot I slid the stem of the globe in its place - again at an angle and as deep as I could.The globe is quite heavy when full so you don’t want too much stem poking out of the soil/pot. Some soil may glug its way into the stem or globe but not enough to block it or stop it working (I think making the divet is key).

Waste of money, water just pours out, would not recommend! Do not buy!

The delivery was very quick but I don't think the products were suitable for the size of my hanging baskets, it said in the description that the globes would be suitable for 14 days of water but only lasted about 3/4 days before i had to refill them & this was before we had the heatwave......I had purchased them thinking I could leave my hanging baskets with the globes for a week away but if I hadn't tested them first, I would have come back from holiday with dead plants, so hence the star rating of only 2.

I bought these as I am often away from home for a week or so and had just planted some new plants outside, and it's summer with hot sun so wanted to keep them watered everyday. I bought these and found them to be working sometimes, and other times not. Sometimes you get it right and it works for about a week, and another time you do the same thing but it doesn't work and the water is gone within a day. So I cannot really rely on these too much, however, you do get 4 in one pack so I usually just put all 4 in, and pray that one will work.
