Awesome peice of kit
Loved this, spent 3 nights in a row trying to settle my newborn (5 weeks old) by manually soothing by rocking the moses basket, after a few hours (newborn has colic, not easily settled) I would stop and within 10 minutes they would awake. In desperation I looked for an automatic rocker and came across the Rock-it. I am really impressed with the Rock-it. I am exceptionally hesitant to leave it on unsupervised / throughout the entire sleep however, initially after I have soothed and got the little one past Rem Sleep and put them on their back in the basket the Rock it offers some reassurance to my newborn and soothes them off. NGL it is not foolproof, however I think this is because of my baby rather than the product itself. The only caveat is that the lowest setting is still quite quick however, it is 100 x better than sitting there cramping your wrist/arm for hours on end. In addition when you click the button it does jump for a second and then got to rocking, be aware of this when you turn it on. I would Reccomends turning it on, then setting the speed then settling your child.TL;DRHelped stop hand cramping. Turned 20 minute naps into 1 hour sleeps if not substantially more. Not foolproof, newborn has started getting used to it though took a week, I would suggest once purchased try and settle your newborn for each sleep within the basket, when you are comfy reduce it so they are not reliant on the rocking motion.

Saved my sanity with twins
Amazing product. You already know as a parent that so many things you buy for babies just don't quite work properly. Well this DOES. I bought it when our twins were a few months old in an effort to get them to nap at the same time in the buggy. I'd put them in the buggy, in the garden, stick the rockit on and leave them. It worked, on our baby jogger city mini GT double, and then later on our mountain buggy duet too. It can take a little fiddling to work out the best place on a double chassis to put the rockit. But it works really well. My only complaint is the cycle is too short when my twins can nap for much longer than 30 mins (yay!). I just set the timer on my phone for 28 mins and turn it off and on again. It's so good I keep it on the buggy most of the time which can cause problems when I forget it's there and bang it into a door frame or it flies off into the depths of the car boot. It has rolled out of the boot a few times onto the ground and seems to have held up very well. The only damage after 6m of use is where some of the Rockit logo rubbed off after sunscreen got on it. The strap is starting to get a bit harder to tighten properly so I may look into getting a new one as we still use it quite a lot. I'm pretty confident i'll be able to pass it on to a friend when we've finished using it. Really great product and definitely worth the £40 and hopefully it will work as well for your baby(ies) as it has for ours. I would say this would really make a great present for new twin parents!!

Never worked fully
Stopped working, manufacturers response was quick, asked for it back then sent back saying needs different batteries. We did this and used batteries they recommended but never worked properly again. Great product idea, poor and disappointing after service. Now doesn't work. Wasted money.

Great little device
Just arrived and set up on my 5 month olds buggy. Used in conjunction with a little white noise machine and she is out for the count within a minute. When I first put the batteries in, it didn't seem to work but once I tightened the screws on the battery compartment, it worked perfectly. Not sure about battery life yet as using for the first time but will update after a few uses.Update: lasted on the same batteries for a month of multiple uses every day! 6 month old daughter still falling asleep within minutes of putting it on.

Only works at a certain angle
Good idea in principle - not in practice.*The AngleI found myself changing the batteries constantly as I thought it was a battery issue but soon discovered it was an angle issue. The rockit works perfectly when at an upright, 90 degree angle to the floor. Most buggy handles are on a slant, maybe a 45 degree angle - the rockit is not a fan of this angle and prefers to be more upright. If I take it off the buggy and turn it on, while holding it upright, it stays on. However, shortly after attaching it back to the bracket on the buggy, it stops after a minute or two. It is incredibly frustrating as when I used it on a 3in1 chair, which had a newborn recline insert, and attached this to the upright leg, it served me perfectly. I've tried taking it off and placing it strategically on other part of the buggy frame, but the bracket is such a faff to get on and off its not worth the hassle.(The buggy I have is an Uppababy Vista)*The BracketYou've probably read it here already but I'll say it again. It is IMPOSSIBLE to remove the bracket once on. It's for a cable tie like mechanism and is supposed to have a tab to release it, but the tab doesn't lift high enough no matter how much pressure my husband or I apply. I cannot understand why this has been designed in such a faulty manner.*Battery lifeIn an era where most things are rechargeable this feels dated. Topped off by just how often the batteries need replacing (with the compartment only accessible with a screwdriver), this ends up being ver expensive in the long run.I have given 3 stars simply for the early use of it on the 3in1 chair. A real shame it doesn't work on my buggy.

Great product that isnt too big to carry around
The product arrived fast and was well and securely packaged. The product was easy to use, strap on to almost anything, pram, crib, bouncers etc. The only thing i was a but disappointed with was that it was battery run rather than chargeable. This product is great for new mums, and helps to sooth your little ones. It did have different settings, whilst i thought it was just be a low vibration, it was more like a sway movement with different levels and speeds. Overall great product. Thanks!
