my vet suggested viacutan when my lurcher dog was diagnosed with an auto immune problem that affected her nails.Her body was rejecting her nails as if they were a foreign body and she had to have all nails removed.I changed her diet and gave her viacutan to help the nails grow better and touch wood it has done the trick without the need for heavy drug treatment.It is now 12 months on and im very pleased with the results and my vet couldn't believe how well they had grown as usually there is some deformity when the nails regrow but hers seem fine.So yes I would highly recommend viacutan
