My Legacy: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Men Of New York Book 1)

This is my first time reading a Samantha Skye book. But it wont be the last.The chemistry between maddison aka Goldie and Sebastian was awesome. I found myself laughing outloud at some parts and my heart pounding in others.I totally loved this book. ❤️ brilliantly written.

Maddison and Sebastians story was suspenseful, dramatic,intriguing, chemistry filled, full of twist and turns and steamy. A captivating read.. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a great start to what promises to be an addictive series, one that hooked me right away and had me powering though it in no time. Ic ould not get enough of the characters and the story, and everything kept me enagged. I'm certainly eager for more.

A brilliant introduction to a new series. Deliciously dark and dangerous. Great characters, well written storyline. Would recommend. Cannot wait for the next book.

This is book one in The Men of New York Series and it is Sebastian and Maddison's story and omg you definitely need to read this book. Sebastian is at one of his club's waiting for Marco who is going out with his sister Francesca who Sebastian has not only put her into hiding but kept her protected from there rather but when he looks across the dance floor he sees a woman in a good dress that completely takes his breath away but as a man in the mafia and due to take over as the head of the mob family he has to be careful about who he brings into his life because of his enemies but he wants to know more about this woman who as affected him like no one else has only to find out that she owns the gallery that he wants to complete his plans and Sebastian always gets what he wants and nobody will stand in his way but when he meets her it is Sebastian that gets the surprise. Maddison has had a really hard life after her father constantly abused her and her mother so when her grandmother died and left her a lot of money Maddison goes to New York and opens her own gallery which was something she always wanted to do. When her best friend Stacey wants them to go to a club as they had both been working hard all week in the gallery getting ready for a show Maddison gives in even though it is not her scene so she decided to stay a while and then go home and that is when she meets Sebastian who has been trying to buy her building by sending his goons to try and intimidate her but she is not selling to anyone and tells him in no uncertain terms not realising just who he is. When Sebastian and Maddison meet the sparks fly and they have a stand off until she turns and walks away making Sebastian absolutely furious. there are twists and turns along with betrayal, danger, kidnapping, death, hope, love and some dangerous situation. Omg the chemistry between Sebastian and Maddison was so hot and intense that you could feel it sizzling of the pages of this book and I thought that my kindle would self destruct . I couldn't put this book down and had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and it was so addictive and the roller coaster ride of emotions had me in tears with everything that Maddison had gone through. Samantha Skye is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and on the edge of their seats while reading her books and the depth of her story's are what makes her book's a definite read and have you going back for more and I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this series.I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first in a new series and is Sebastian and Maddison’s story. Sebastian is soon to become the head of the New York mob, who is protective of his sister, and he is used to getting what he wants when he wants it. Maddison has had a tough life and when her grandma passes, she is left a lot of money, which has her moving to New York to pursue her dream of owning her own gallery. Sebastian owns the bar next to the gallery, and he wants to expand his business but buying the gallery, which has had him sending his goons to try intimidating the owner into selling. When Sebastian and Maddison meet in a club the sparks fly between them, but she is more than a match for him and challenges him every step of the way. This is a well written story which is a slow burn, enemies / lovers romance, and is action packed, with suspense, danger, intrigue, twists, betrayal, violence, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining and riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more form this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
