Lifeplan Fibre 440mg 200 Tablets

This is my second bottle and Im so impressed my sister and mum arenow also using this product. I didn't buy for slimming (fullness) purposes, more to get the actual type of fibre (sugar beet) It helps the gut in many ways and if your digestion is a bit ropy at the best of times this should help. We all tend to struggle with IBS issues in our family and nothing much has helped reduce symptoms, this product has gone the furthest in making life easier around food and comfort.

I usually use Psyllium husk in powder form but when travelling or eating out these are much more convenient to carry and reasonably effective. They are not too big IMHO and I find them easy to swallow. I take 2 before a meal with a glass of water. They are not as effective as the powder but all things considered they offer some worthwhile advantages.

I didn’t find these made much difference to my daily habits... perhaps I need a higher dose of fibre. I also didn’t feel any fuller which I believe is one of the supposed benefits.Even if the above hadn’t have been the case, I still wouldn’t be a fan as the tablets are really difficult to swallow due to their size and texture. Quite a few times these got lodged in my throat, and I’m not someone who’s had an issue with swallowing pills before.I definitely wouldn’t buy again.

I'm not sure if these tablets have changed in size going by other people's reviews, but the ones I received are certainly not that large and are easy enough to swallow (see picture). The lack of coating may make them a little more tricky for people that have a real struggle swallowing tablets as they are quite dry. I found them easier to put into my mouth and swallow it, then swig some water. That way they don't crumble, because as soon as then get water on them they go powdery.I found taking two of these 30 mins before each meal that after 24 hours there was a definate improvement and by 48 hours the effect I wanted. I've started taking a maintenance does of just one tablet before meals now and that seems to be doing the same job.

Fine, did what they said but I choked on one trying to swallow it. The tablets start to break down the moment they hit liquid and so I didn't quite manage to swallow the first time and the second attempt caused chaos. It dried out my throat, got stuck, I breathed in and inhaled the dust from the breaking down tablet and choked so bad i nearly threw up and my children were terrified. I have thrown the rest out and will not buy again.

Very effective

I purchased these because I don't eat enough fibre. I have found taking 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening has improved my digestion. I spend less time on the toilet and less occasions and clearly they are helping my system.They do suppress hunger or should I say make you more full when eating after taking them but that was not my intension. They are flavourless or maybe a hint of dry albran cereal but not a worry easy to swallow.
