Would this work on a small patch of concrete floor which is showing damp, or must the whole floor area be painted?

I should imagine that if there is a small patch, it would spread,?? But our kitchen floor is concrete and it was really bad, black mould underneath the cushion floor, we did it twice, 2 tins you can't save it has to be used asap, up to now we are very pleased with it Hope that helps

Would this be appropriate to seal a wooden enclosure for my reptile? Needs to be suitable for plants and hold water.

I would say not, it has a hard finish, we used on our concrete floor to stop floor moisture rising but that's only my opinion

No, but I placed slightly raised floorboards on it and have no damp problems at all. It was applied to the floor of an outside shed that was afflicted with incessant damp.
