I love ink joy, I always keep one on my desk. I thought I'd try the multicoloured version to bring some life into my planner, but was a little disappointed. The blues and blacks I've always used were fantastic quality and great value - the ink ran smooth as butter with little to no ink blots and inconsistencies. But the multicoloured pack was very hit and miss. Some pens were perfect, and others (over a third of them) performed very inconsistently. Lines come out in varying thickness, ink randomly leaves blots on the paper or just doesn't flow at all, and the pens can feel scratchy to write with. In fact, a few of them (eg. The greens and light blue) are just downright awful. They feel like those cheap, barely working gel pens you'd get free from magazines as a kid. Overall, I was a bit let down by this product. Blue ink joys will still be my favourite cheap desk pen, but I won't be purchasing any more multicoloured ones unless they fix them. Also, I'd prefer if they swapped the brown with perhaps a violet, turquoise, or other bright colour. I personally don't find brown very useful in a set of pens designed to bring more life into your notes. But that's only me nitpicking. The lack of quality in this set is why it lost 2 stars. Yeah, just stick to the good old blues and blacks and ink joy is still great.

Very decent pens. Very decent purchase. They write smoothly and all work well. Colours are quite bright and clear which is great also. Ink doesn't run or bleed which is great. Great for colour coding.

Ho acquistato questo set di penne dopo averne provata una per casualità al lavoro e ad oggi sono le penne con cui mi trovo meglio in assoluto. L'inchiostro appare molto vivo, è fluido e scorre bene, la costruzione della penna in sé è ergonomica e non fa male alle mani anche dopo aver scritto per tanto tempo, i colori sono abbastanza vari e in generale sono penne esteticamente belle da vedere ed utilizzare. Un prodotto di cancelleria decisamente consigliato.

No manchan los dedos, no dejan grumos y el secado rápido es real, así que nada de manchas al pasar la mano por encima. Los colores más vivos, como el naranja o el morado, son alegres y dan ese toque divertido incluso a apuntes aburridos. Me encanta que no tengas que “calentar” el boli para que escriba; destapas, escribes y listo. El capuchón cierra bien y no se suelta en el estuche, lo que evita que termines con una sorpresa de tinta por todas partes. La durabilidad de cada boli es bastante buena; incluso con uso diario aguantan semanas sin perder intensidad de color. En resumen, estos Paper Mate InkJoy son fiables, cómodos y con colores que dan ganas de escribir más. Perfectos tanto para trabajo como para apuntes creativos, y a un precio que no duele nada.

Nice pens to lay down an even color. These also ball up sometimes so have a tissue ready to wipe off excess ink. I do miss a yellow pen in the set. Yellow and indigo or a neutral grey would make the set more versatile for drawing
