For a beginner flipper I do recommend this knife, just be sure to have loctite 242 and som paint thinner to remove any grime from screws before applying loctite otherwise there's no point.The tang pins seem to get fairly squished over time (I do flip quite heavily) leaving the balisong in an open position, quick fix with o rings.Personally I prefer a slightly heavier bali, not to say that this balisong doesn't carry momentum but I find chaplins harder to do.Overall appearance is flashy and makes for a great bali for a collector.------------------My only recent problem is that the two pivot screws had their threads completely stripped leaving me with an unusable knife.Is there any chance I could have replacments shipped? Due to the fact that I cannot find a Torx screw of its size (T9), it would mean the world to me.Thanks!

This practice knife arrived with the screws so tight it was unusable, so if you decide to buy this made sure you also have/buy a small set or torx screw drivers or alan keys, after loosening the screws slightly and adding some lubricant this is an excellent knife for any price, expecially good value with it being so cheap.

Personally I'm still not sure what this is or the appeal of it but my son is very, very happy with it & flips it around performing 'tricks' [all of which look very similar to me but I'm of the wrong generation!!] He thinks it's excellent so 5 stars from us.

Pretty good for the money and a great trainer. Nice finish and put together well. Was a little stiff when I got it but a little WD40 soon loosened it up. Good weight and quite big. Could probably give beginners a good rap around the knuckles though. Nice little case. Spring mechanism sometimes pops the catch open but that's not too much of a problem.

It's OK the tool saved it quite a bit every like 5 drops it'd become really loose on one side only and it's not the best build quality either but if you want a balisong trainer that you won't care about breaking then this would be the one probably so long story short get it if your really new and are just getting into balisong trainers

I thought this was quite cool, Bought it for fun and ended up learning a few tricks on it ! Maybe bruised my knuckles a few times but other than that everything was fine! Also good value comes with a little tin for parts, Amazing.
