Addams Family Child's Wednesday Addams Costume, Medium, Black/White

This is a typical store bought costume. It's not thick at all but it works for the purpose needed. My daughter loved it!

Material is flimsy but thats to be expected my daughter loves this costume. She did get asked if she was a pilgram but thats basicly how Wednesday dresses fit great my daughter is a 7regular and it wasnt too short or too tight. Over all worth the 12bucks I payed for it

This costume was perfect for what we needed. It's cheap polyester, but that's to be deduced. You are purchasing a cheap Halloween costume, so if you were expecting something of amazing quality then you have another idea of what something worth under $20 should feel like. The belt is pretty chintzy, but it was perfect for the one time use (although the entire costume is still in one piece, after hand washing so my daughter can wear it again for dress up...or perhaps to be a Pilgrim next year?)We added black tights which I purchased separately and I had my friend plait some hair extensions into my daughter's hair to achieve the Wednesday look. She wore black converse since her mary janes were the wrong color. We also had her carry around a severed baby doll head for full affect. It was perfect.I purchased a size large for my eight year old daughter who is 4' 3" and weighs 70lb. She is usually in a size 8 or 10 depending on the product. The product fit perfectly.

Perfect costume for my daughter for Wednesday Addams. The belt is removable, and we didn’t use it for the costume because it looked more like a pilgrim costume then Wednesday Addams. Other than that, it was perfect!

Ok so this costume does look pretty pilgrim-y. We immediately removed the belt, which improved it a lot. We tucked in the cuffs so they were less... loud and not pointy. (You could cut them, but I didn't trust myself to do it perfectly.) We affixed big black buttons all the way down the front (like Wednesday in the original TV show), and pinned the collar up in the back - again, to make it look more like the TV character and less like a pilgrim. (Again, one could also trim this part with scissors, but I chose not to.)Once we made the alterations it looked pretty great, and my daughter received a TON of compliments! This is a good "base" costume if you have a little imagination.It's made of the usual flimsy costume material, which worked for our locale, but if you live in a colder climate, you'll need a long-sleeve black leotard or something under it to keep warm.

Cheap piece of junk. It's short in the length, but the sleeves are long and droopy, and the collar is large and clownish. Super cheap material, which is see-through even though it's black (!) and the belt is just an unfinished strip of fabric with a cut-out piece of silver fabric for a 'buckle'. I was so annoyed when I opened it, even before she tried it on. But it was too late to get another costume, so we just used a white button-up under a black sweater, and a school uniform skirt with chunky mary-janes. Seriously, I could have made a better version of this costume myself with material from the dollar store.

My daughter loved her costume! It does look a little pilgrimy but after the makeup and hair it’s obvious that it’s supposed to be Wednesday.

Our daughter had so many compliments on this outfit. People seemed to get a kick out of a young girl choosing Wednesday as her custom. If wanted, the child could also use this as pilgrim outfit without the wig. It is a little flimsy but it is exactly what I expected for the price.

I bought this for a friend's granddaughter, she absolutely loved it!!!

Costume was perfect! There was a bit of a challenge when it came to size....but was NOT..a problem. I ordered the larger the size as my daughter is tall for her age. I then went down a size smaller and a little too short. My mother hemmed the larger size (also...we live in Canada...so Halloween can be a bit cold...and I was putting black long johns underneath the top) GREAT QUALITY...NO COMPLAINTS! I wpuld purchase from them again!!
