These are of a higher quality than they appear, with exception of the battery compartment in which it is a bit fiddly to line the batteries up properly. I am impressed that the batteries have not lost power having used them many times, before leaving a review I thought I should try then underwater, I had forgotten that there was a warning about not leaving them submerged for more than 10 hours, I did one of mine up very tightly and left it in the bottom of a large vase of flowers for 24 hours, not a single droplet of water got inside the sealed unit, and the effect of lighting the stems was quite eye catching, I'll likely be doing it again.The effects are quite limited, it took a while to work out how the strobe function works (select one of top 4 or bottom 3 colours and then it fades that colour in and out) and the fade function, smoothly scrolling through the colours, is good, the other two are less attractive versions of the latter. The remote control also deserves its own mention, you get four, so you can use them in different rooms, or you can use one control with all of them. The range seems quite good. You can also adjust th brightness on these lights, so they are good for trying to get just the right lighting. White is one of the colours.

these lights are way beyond what i expected..i got them on a lightning deal and they were an absolute steal..i knew there were 4 lights but i thought there were only 2 remote controls but there are 4 of them too..i have a couple sitting on my stairs as well as a set of clear fairy lights so i don't need to keep on switching my stair light on when going up and down to the loo..my staircase looks magical..i am way more than delighted with them..also they can change to loads of different colours...did i say i was over the moon...lol..

This is my second purchase of similar lights and I have to say this set are much better quality than the other set I bought for double the price, so great value. They also come with 4 remotes which means you can use them in different locations and one remote will also switch off all four lights at the same time, this is a big bonus. I use these lights in and around the bath when I'm chilling out and they are better and much safer than candles as you can adjust the colour of the lights depending on your mood. I have also used them underwater in the bath with no issues of water leaking into them as there is a rubber seal between the two sections of the light. You simply unscrew the two sections of each light to put the batteries in. Each light takes 3 x AAA batteries, the batteries last a long time before needing to be replaced but I use rechargeable batteries to save on cost. 5* and they are so good I bought another set.

I bought these originally to use in my kitchen. I wanted a coloured LED beneath the wall unit, but didn’t want any wires at all. Most lights I've looked at need either USB or plug socket to power them. These only require 3xAAA batteries each (not supplied). I put one under the cupboard and it was plenty as they are so powerful/bright. What’s also great is that each one has a separate remote. I was so pleased with the effect of the one in the kitchen I’ve added one to the TV stand in the playroom too. I’m saving the other 2 to experiment with them in the bottom of vases as they are waterproof. It’s worth noting that as these have so many uses, it’s up to you, if you want to stick them somewhere such as under a unit you need to provide your own means of sticking them. Really pleased with the quality and value and they look great!

I love these lights I have just taken delivery of another pack. I use 4 x in the hot tub and will be using 4 x around the hot tub. They look great and they have a number of settings, Flash, Strobe, Fade or smooth depending on your mood. They have 16 x different colour combinations to choose from and each light has its own remote control so you can set them up with the required colour you want on you chosen setting individually or set them all up at once off one remote. Perfect!!I love them & would certainly recommend!! Very pleased all round.

Advertised as waterproof and submergable they can only be in water for afew hours not for long periods of time got these to put in my pond vut are no good so waste of money for me but do look nice when used would be good for camping or evenings in the garden to light paths up as long as you change the batteries very few hours they seem fine unfortunately no good for what i wanted then for

Absolutely shocking product. I've tried to write a review several times but as soon as I had a photo I am unable to load it. These are not to be submerged! I used them once and though the lights still worked the units were all full of water causing the batteries to rust and the whole lot to be orange. You could not do them up and tighter so it was not a case of water coming in due to not being tight enough. Overall very disappointed with the product.

wife loves them .put in the hot tub.but don't leave in.makes a good choice of patterns with the lights.
