Amazing Engineering!
All my life I have worked with electronics but sometimes a product still amazes me - and this is one of those occasions! I can't even really compare this to another object for size - this is tiny and ideal for recording your speeches for later analysis, your lessons for later availability on the internet or simply recording lecture that you may attend. No one wants a big recorder shoved in their face and this is so small I am not totally sure where the microphone is, but there is one because it records well without having anything plugged in.Shipped complete with a charging/connecting lead to USB, this simply charges when connected to your PC, giving you a full battery after about an hour's charge (this will give you almost 24 hours recording at the lowest setting). Simply turn the power on (with a small switch operated by a finger nail) and it will record until you turn it off. There are settings in software which you can adjust when connected to your PC, which allow you to alter bit rate & recording time and you simply drag and drop recording into a folder on your PC and hey presto - the job's a good 'un!So compact, so quick to charge, and such good quality. I normally use a Tascam recorder but this actually delivers as good a performance (what am I saying?) I can't recommend this enough!

Poor Sound from Recordings
Having had several hospital and GP appointments over the last 2 years (Pandemic did not make it easy to get them) I have had cases where what I believe I was told and then what has been recorded by the medical professional seem at times...to be different. It hit me that it would be really handy to be able to record such sessions, with the professional's permission of course so we were on the same page. I have used my phone and voice recording app but I always wanted a dictation level device to use, which is where I saw this product. This is a very "spy level" looking device, its build is small and thin, like any USB key with 16GB of storage. It comes with a short USB C Cable for connecting to a PC/Laptop for use and for charging. This cable is not of good quality, and it can cause the PC/laptop to detect it multiple times which is annoying. It also comes with a very cheap pair of USB wired earbuds with inline controls which at first I thought was the microphone but it is purely there to enable playback of recordings. The USB device itself, has a microphone just on the base, a pin prick hole can be seen on the underside to the USB port. To record you simply turn the device on and it will flash red to show it has begun recording and will continue to do so until you turn it off again. You can make multiple recordings with a good length, recorded as .wav files which you can also play and make use of via your PC/Laptop.I found the sound to be very tinny, whilst it can pick up audio and voices close up and fairly distant, even with no other sound sources in the room, the recordings ended up with a distortion sound, so either the microphone is defective on this unit or it just isn't very good. It will do the basic job of recording but for the asking price, I expected better. There are other products out there that can do the job, this is clearly designed to be a very secretive and discreet method of recording audio, but the asking price for the device based on its performance and accessories, I would avoid this and go with a more known brand of recorder.

Sleek, discrete and easy to use
This is an excellent voice recorde with plenty of of storage (though not expandable). It is simple to operate and has few useful features such as auto saving the recordings on shut down. Recording quality is good and you can alter bit rate etc on your PC. Sound files are easily extracted and just a case of drag and drop into the folder of your choice. There is no readout on the casing (which may be a drawback for some) but I didn’t feel it was needed personally. Perhaps the biggest USP with this device is its dimensions: it really is tiny. Due to this it is incredibly discrete and, should you wish to, use as a covert recording device (particularly if you leave it somewhere recording (where it can record for 24 hours straight). The case is aluminium and magnetic which makes it easy to mount/position where a metal surface allows. Finally, it looks very cool (not perhaps that that should matter). In conclusion: nifty and effective voice recorder, ar a reasonable price.

Sleek mini voice recorder with good battery life
If you're looking for a voice recorder that is compact, sleek with a good battery then this could be a good option to consider. This thing is tiny and super straightforward and easy to use , nothing complicated or confusing. It has a recording length of 28 hours , it will stop recording if noise levels drop too low to save recording time and battery. It's smaller than it looks in the pictures , it's smooth , super lightweight so you have to be very careful you don't lose it or put it down somewhere and forget about it.The recording capabilities are good , not exceptional but clear enough, especially for the price point and size. It's a basic design that works well , take it anywhere so you don't miss any important information in college, university or for work reasons. It's very easy to charge , it doesn't take long, an hour or so to get the 150mAh inbuilt battery enough power to last most of the day anyway.Voice activated recording helps conserve power and battery too.A clever little device, as far as budget voice recorders go this seems OK and will do a decent job.If you're looking for exceptional crystal clear amplified recordings then you will probably have to spend more but for basic recordings this is OK.
