It’s for my mum lovely smell

Typically English ?
Ordered a box of these as a present from England for some German friends, part of a thankyou for their wonderful hospitality.This scent couldn't be more typically English. It's 'English Lavender' from an old London company, with two Royal Warrants on the elegant box.Then I looked at the info. on the back ! "Made in Germany" !!! What on earth is going on ?Life gets more and more confusing. Sadly, I recently abandoned wonderful 'Pears' Soap' after Unilever ended a 200 year-old recipe in favour of nasty-smelling synthetic ingredients. Now they make it in India. (I had used it and loved it for 50 years, heartbreaking I call it.)Decided I couldn't give the Yardley's to my German friends, but I did enjoy using the 'German-English-Lavender' soap myself.

A good soap with pleasant scent at a great price
Packaged in three’s, this is our favourite day to day soap. Excellent value. Pleased to see not over packaged.Comes in a cardboard box as is without further packaging materials. Recommend if you like good value for money.

Good quality
Quality just as I expected from a well known brand, been using them for a while now and still the same distinctive smell and it hasn't gone mushy or bits breaking of like the last brand I used, lavender is antibacterial and not as harsh on my skin as some handwash's. I wouldn't recommend on the face essentialy near eyes though, or in other delicate areas just in case there's a reaction. I use mine just for my hands.

'Lavender' Soap
All three bars of this supposedly lavender soap were completely odourless. One bar normally fills my linen drawer. All three, nothing.I cannot reteurn the product as I have thrown away the packaging but rest assured the product will remain unused.

Good quality soap
Traditional. Yardley is very traditionsl and their effigy is three jadies together carrying lavender.. i ave a 12-15 in ornament of this, the utem being nade by Dresden China , probably 100 to 1930.Sent soap to a cousin who is 100 shortly!
