**Q: do you know how many carbon electrodes are in the battery?**
A: No sorry

**Q: When I connect these 2 6v batteries in series no current coming out? The batteries both work fine in a torch.**
A: Not enough info of what you are doing but if you have them connected correctly you should expect 12 volts across the 2 batteries. Unless you are actually operating anything with them you will not get any current.

**Q: Is it rechargeable?**
A: Definitely not. Don't think you can get a rechargeable 6v battery.
