I bought this for my granddaughter who is obsessed with horses. It is honestly beautiful. The detail is amazing and it has almost an iridescent shimmer on it that you really can’t see in the pictures. It is better than I expected. It is a special edition horse and you can scan a QR code on the box and watch videos of horses interacting with those in need. $1 from each Hope purchase supports the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International organization to give hope to moms, dads, kids, veterans, and all people in need through a variety of equine-assisted programs.

She is very pretty! I did not realize from the photos that she was pearlescent. The white has a pretty purpleish shine to it, and the black on her tail and mane have a bluish hint. I was surprised when I opened the box. She came with her box in an Amazon bag, but it was not damaged at all. The only flaw I have noticed was a rub on her side. It is circled in red in the picture. It doesn't realy look bad, but it doesn't have the pearl on that part. I think it must have happened at Breyer before she went into the box. I would definitely recommend her.

Granddaughter loves this horse, carries it everywhere! I worried about sharp edges but that doesn’t seem to be a problem. Sturdy little pony.

It’s SUCH a good model, a lot of people were saying that it had a bad paint job in the face, but mine didn’t. It’s PERFECT and very shiny. Nobody talked about it but her hair is a purpley blue color in the light and very gorgeous!

What a terrific model horse! The sculpture itself is very realistic, well-balanced; beautiful. The head & eyes are expressive & painted with care. The overo-style pinto markings on the body are simultaneously realistic when seen from a distance &, when viewed from closer in, convey the child hugging the pony's neck & the heart over the pony's flank.A few features that don't necessarily detract from the model but may be good to be aware of:(1) The sculpture itself appears identical to my eye as the one used for the roan Welsh pony model. Not that surprising. Breyer often reuses sculpts with different paint jobs to create "new" models.(2) This model's coat has a pearlescent pinkish cast not visible in the Amazon listing pictures that might be off-putting to some boys. Fortunately, the boy for whom I bought this model is really into unicorns, so I don't think he'll mind the pearlescent pinkness.This is such a great model, I'm planning on buying one for my own Breyer collection.

I redid my bedroom in Southwest and this horse is perfect on the headboard.
