no instructions
comes with no instructions, but from what I can see after test continuity, the brown and orange wires are for the sensor/toolsetting and the blue and green wires are for the over limit switch for tool/machine overlimit protection.

Great deal if you know what you are doing!
I found this tool setter while selecting parts for my Linux CNC conversion. The construction is nice and the part works as expected. I'm giving it 3 stars because the included instructions were in Chinese and seemed to reference a different model that has more wires. I contacted the seller about this issue and they sent me back a screen shot of what looked to be done in a translator app. Of course, it didn't make sense. My unit had 4 wires, 2 for the tool setter switch and 2 for the limit switch. They were polarity sensitive, but otherwise it was easy to wire up as NC switches.I'll leave the accuracy tests to someone else. All I know, is after I tell LinuxCNC to do a tool change and I swap out the endmilll, it does a touch off on the tool setter and when I send it to Z0 it's touching the top of the work piece perfectly.

Instructions unclear
I'll figure it out, but right off the bat, if you think the instructions on this listing are bad, they are better than the passive aggressive instructions it shipped with in Chinese.
