It seemed to work fine but even when stirring into a large amount of very hot water, a significant amount of insoluble sediment was left. I have no idea what this is.

Can be used with or without the brewing sugar. Improves flavour of your brew.

Easy to use as malted drink

I buy this for culinary use.I use it mainly for drinks, added to hot milk as an alternative to Horlicks. Added to cold milk blended with vanilla ice cream for malted-milk milkshakes. Also for adding a malt flavour to bread machine bread recipes. I've also used it to make malted milk biscuits. In all cases, the results are as if one has used conventional malt extract, though this is infinitely easier to work with.

Good stuff...tasty. Use a spoon, don’t pour from the bag. Stuff moves like an avalanche
