I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer and user of this type of tool. I have been actively using Stanley tools for 50 years plus all the way back to “fixing” my first bicycle. Now I have grown boys and farmed out my old tools (or had them “borrowed” thus the need to renew and replace. The older spanner’s were plain metal. It gave and still gives a solid grip but these are gentler to my old hands with a moulded covering over the metal handle. The adjustment for size moves easily under my thumb. Thus it does everything that it is meant to do. The price is fairly good, better than the high street superstores and in my case includes delivery as I am a prime member. There is no indication as to postal costs for non prime members. I expect these spanner’s will outlast any life I have left.

Great adjustable. Nice grip

I picked this wrench up specifically for some radiator work, and it’s been a standout addition to my toolkit. Unlike some adjustable wrenches that feel loose or "sloppy" in the jaw, this one is nice and solid with absolutely no play once set. ​Why it worked for me: I was taking a radiator off the wall for decorating and needed to cap the pipes to prevent any "child-induced flooding" from my inquisitive toddler. The more compact handle on this wrench was a lifesaver; it gave me the ability to work in much tighter spaces where a standard-sized wrench would have struggled. ​ The adjusting wheel has an easy spin, making it simple to adjust one-handed while you're holding a pipe or a cap. It’s clearly designed with actual use in mind rather than just looking the part. It did the job perfectly, and for the price, especially for a Stanley, you really can't go wrong.

J'avais besoin d'une clé à molette polyvalente pour la plomberie et quelques travaux de mécanique à la maison. La MaxSteel 200 mm coche toutes les cases. Le corps en acier forgé chrome vanadium avec traitement thermique, c'est du solide, rien à voir avec les clés bas de gamme qui se déforment à la première contrainte sérieuse. La molette de réglage crantée permet un ajustement précis sans jeu intempestif, la tête étroite passe dans des espaces où d'autres clés ne passent pas, et la poignée bimatière est vraiment agréable en main même après plusieurs heures de travail. Le format 200 mm est le bon compromis : assez grand pour avoir du couple, assez compact pour rester maniable. Les graduations sur la mâchoire pour mesurer directement la taille de l'écrou sont un détail très pratique.

Ottima chiave a rullino. Piccola ma allo stesso tempo funzionale e resistente. Utile negli spazi ridotti.
