I can't praise these Fridge Thermometers enough! I've purchased them before, and they have become an essential addition to all our fridges.First and foremost, the display on these thermometers is very clear. So far, so good. I just wanted a basic fridge thermometer that worked. This unit appears to be responsive and accurate. It also has a min & max display that I wasn't looking for, but it has shown me the fluctuations that appear to happen overnight (i.e. not affected by opening the door) that I will need to monitor.As long as it continues to work I'll be happy.The one tiny negative was that it arrived switched on, I thought at first it was just one of those printed protective films, but no. Whether this happened in transit or when the package was wedged in the letter box, who knows? It just means that I will need to keep an eye on the battery.

Was disappointed to see that the product had been opened before and not put back in its packaging correctly. However it appears at the moment it looks to be working. Will come back if any problems.

Works fine batteries are included but didn’t work so had to change them

Bought two of these a couple of months ago and they worked v well - v pleased with them - however the batteries in both failed this week and had to get some more, needed tiny screwdriver to get into the battery compartment - hopefully my new batteries will last longer

These did not seem to be very accurate and the batteries needed are not cheap so I ended up buying fridge thermometers that didn’t need them.

I had a problem with my freezer being far too cold, so I used these to check the temperature Both read the same temperature-33°. The insurance repair man's reader said -14°. His proved to be wrong and these to be correct! Well worth the investment

As others have pointed out there is no battery tab preventing drain while in storage. Therefore unsurprisingly it was delivered flat. You need a 2032 or 2025 and a tiny Philips screwdriver to cbange.
