Good value
Happy with the filter, fits plug&play on my Subaru. Looks much better visualy.K&N states that it gives you a lot more oil flow, well my engine became quieter and more dynamic, but I guess thats from the new set of filters, spark plugs and oil.

No issues in 3yrs
I've used this filter for the last 2yrs for my car (so 2 filter changes) . I can't fault it, it's easy to install and remove. I haven't noticed anything negative that can be attributed to the filter. A bit pricey, but the welded bolt head, makes it simple to remove and worth it.

Very easy install. Have only done a few 100 miles but car runs perfect.
Used this as a replacement filter on my 2008 Honda Civic 1.4 i-DSI FN2. The car had 220k miles on it before I gave it a full service and put this filter on it. It's my first time using a K&N oil filter so said i would give it a go. The engine runs smoother than it ever did, probably due to the new oil, coolant and trans oil but it's nice to have peace of mind when buying a quality product. The hex head on the filter is useful for torquing down an oil filter to exact spec. Well obviously make life easier whenever the next service is due. Will give a high mileage update in future of this product.

it filters oil, really. it does.
its an oil filter, it filters oil, what more do you want me to say.i used it on my KLZE swapped mx5. so yes i would work on mx6, ford probe, mx6, 626, etc as long as they have a v6 engine, or a KLDE, KLZE, K8, KF engine etc.
