Ink does not flow on white pens
You have to go over lines over and over to get a line. Very messy, the pen scratches the ink off of you go over it, which you have to because the flow is intermittent. Looks like a lot of good reviews for the gold pens but the white ones are a waste of time and money.

Quality pens at a good price
Having purchased bright red Christmas cards with gold print and darker red envelopes, I wanted ink to match so I tried these Qionew Gold Gel Pens. With a 1mm tip, the ink flowed freely with good coverage and a rich metallic color, though I noticed a few letters that looked yellower, without as much of the metallic tint. I wrote messages in 40 cards and addressed 40 envelopes and am still using the first pen. The ink level has dropped noticeably but should last a good while longer. Two warnings:First, the ink goes on smooth and beautiful but it requires a minute or so to dry before being disturbed. It looks great and withstands a dry touch after drying. Second, please note that the manufacturer recommends capping the pens immediately when not in use and storing them lying down rather than standing up to avoid drying them out. If you follow these recommendations, I think you'll like these pens as much as I do.

Works great on Red Envelopes
Needed a festive pen to address red envelopes and these gold gel pens worked great! They are smooth writing and make a beautiful presentation. The envelopes were easy to read and looked fantastic!

Depends of Paper type
I first used this pen on regular paper and gave it a couple of seconds before running my finger over the ink and it didn't seem to smear. The gold is a very nice shade of gold with a pretty matallic sheen under strong light. Has a very tight cap too to protect it from drying out. It also shows up well on black, BUT if the card is glossy it doesn't absorb like on regular paper and it smeared big time. I guess because it doesn't obsorb the ink like paper does I guess. When you are writing it is sliding on the paper and skipping so you have to go back over it. Just done recommend on glossy paper, but great on regular paper.

Lasting vibrant gold ink
Being a handletterer/calligrapher, I'm super picky about gold pens. These are the best gold pens I've found yet! And cheap too! I wrote 250 wedding invitations with them and they haven't run out or turned silver. The gold is vibrant, shimmery, and the pens are very easy to write with. The ink does smear a little though but will dry if you give it a moment. Will definitely order again! They don't work so well for faux calligraphy though as they create lines when you're filling the letter in (see pic)
