This elasticated knee support is sold through Amazon at a cost of £4.99 plus a 99p postal charge. The support was delivered quickly along with other purchases. Simply packed and opened. The bandage / support is effectively a simple elasticated tube approximately ten inches long with a slightly larger opening at one end than the other. I am a 6ft 2 male, average weight and build. The "support" fits in such a way that it is a comfortable fit being neither overly tight thus interfering with blood flow but tight enough to give me support to my long term troublesome knee. I CHOOSE SIZE XL I choose the beige / code to flesh colour option. The material is well woven and the join to the tube is nigh on invisible so overall well made. I have had a troublesome knee for over twenty years, a momento of injuries in the course of my duties. I have used many variations of knee support. This overall is fairly average when compared to similar tube type support tubes. This tube does however stand out in terms of comparable value being the best that I have seen in some time, definitely from high street sources and many internet sources. This review is based on my own opinions based on decades of experiences gleaned in a professional occupation, as a consumer, a property owner and raising a family. This is the C in RICE... rest, ice, compression and elevation. Bought this knee support on the strength of the other reviews and so glad I did after twisting my knee. I didn't want to get one of those knee supports with straps and a hole over your knee cap as they're uncomfortable with limited give. Pleasantly surprised at the firmness of the support. I'm a 41cm so got the Large which goes up to 42cm. The support is firm but just right, not too tight and enough give to walk around with. It's a close knit, and very soft like velvet including the edges and doesn't cut in. I would recommend this knee support as it's excellent quality and well worth the money. Actually starting to feel a bit better with less pain, bought the fleshy colour which is like a deeper tan colour #happydays

I like the support this would give IF it were my size. It seems very sturdy however it was too tight on my upper leg, even though I got the large size. Seems my chubby legs are still looking for a supportive, comfortable support sleeve.

I have to admit I was slightly sceptical about buying "yet another" knee support. Having purchased several of these before, all being too tight and unwearable, this one was perfect. I didn't think it would fit (bought the Large one) but as soon as I put it on and with slight adjustment, my knee immediately felt supported and the relief in just a few minutes was really noticeable. Therefore I am very pleasantly surprised by this product. It was my osteopath who recommended buying a tube/fabric support instead of the more expensive ones with holes in to allow for joint movement. This product offers really good support, and although it is slightly tight it is comfy. There is a slight bulge, but I can wear it under trousers without it being really noticeable. Overall, i'm really happy - as it's so comfy, it'll be a struggle to take it off!

Works well but sizing very off, I measured and used their guide and ordered a medium, way too small and so ordered a large which is better but still a bit tight. I don’t exactly have huge legs so not sure who they base their measurements on! That said both sizes do make my knees feel better but I can’t wear them out of the house as they make my legs bulge above which shows under any type of trouser

I do not think this can be described as lightweight. I found it very stiff and strong and difficult to put on. The bottom end dug into my leg and I had to take it off at once. I think the description should be very firm instead of lightweight. I would be returning it but unfortunately the cellophane packet it came in ripped on opening

I do not like because sleeve rolls down.
