This shampoo cleanses my hair thoroughly without stripping it, which is hard to find for low porosity 4C hair. It removes buildup while still leaving my curls feeling soft and defined. My hair feels lighter and easier to style afterwards. It’s become an essential part of my wash day routine.

I love this shampoo and now have my while family using it. It has helped our dry scalps

I really enjoyed this shampoo, but it honestly didn’t last me long. Smells great, easy to use. But I don’t think the lather was too great, I remember using the bottle for maximum 3 washes (and that is only for my first shampoo) I’m type 4 (4b I believe) I had starter locs originally when I first got this and had taken them out, this shampoo though I enjoyed was not great value for money as it finished way to quick.

I use this product on a monthly basis swapping out my usual shampoo to get a good cleanse and this product is, as most as I am products are, fantastic. The quality itself of the shampoo cannot be understated. It is a nice viscous consistency and feels great on your scalp. After rinsing it out your hair feels moist enough not to warrant concern, while being completely clean. I find that all this for such a fair price is truly rare with certain curly hair products, but as most of this companies products go, the Clarity Shampoo is a must have in your routine.

I'll start by giving a backstory on my hair type because I feel like hair products are very dependent on the individual's hair: So I always had type 1a hair - very straight, very, very fine, very limp/lacking body. I've tried a lot of things to get body: different 'body' shampoos; conditioners; products- mousses, powders, sprays - nothing really worked that well, and I have very sensitive skin/MCAS which didn't agree with many of these products, just to complicate things. So I tried using the curly girl method and oddly enough, it changed the texture of my hair to varying degrees of type 2/wavy and offered it a lot more body. I started by using Hair One co-wash until it became unavailable so I switched to Shea Moisture which I loved until recently, when it began making my hair feel waxy and making my scalp itch. So I decided to give this product a try for the first time instead. Main review: This shampoo smells nice (though a bit too sweet for my taste personally) and it fits the bill in that it gives my hair the body and waves I like, however it doesn't feel or look very clean. I've attached a picture of my hair after washing THREE times and allowing it to air dry fully. The reason I washed it 3 times is because the shampoo came out quite watery, was difficult to distribute evenly and my hair still felt very greasy after rinsing. I made sure to rinse thoroughly after washing, too. I've done 3 washes with this now, and if I use a *lot* of product, then it's kind of ok. I can't say for sure if the product is genuine as this is the first time I've tried it, but as it is making my hair wavy I would guess it is real - though perhaps watered down? I don't know, but I don't think I'll buy it again as it is taking so much effort and product to get my hair looking clean.

Great for my curly hair. I use it instead of curl cream. Smell is nice too.
