EXTREMELY EASY to install, outstanding form factor (small!) and functions perfectly. The Mobius can be mounted on your dashboard with just a piece of Velcro for instantaneous removal. No need to worry about it sitting out in the sun. Just grab it and bring it inside after use.This is replacing a G1W cam that broke after 1 day and was as annoying as having a second rear view mirror in the windshield blocking my view plus a power cord hanging down. This also seems like a much more sturdy housing than the G1W and less than half the size. This was worth the extra 20 dollars.The best part of the available velcro mounting method is that there is no wire hanging down in front of you, just coming straight down from the dashboard to the cigarette lighter port. And the 80 minute battery life lets you disconnect the power supply for most shorter trips or when you want to charge your phone instead.This camera does NOT have an lcd for on-camera playback so you will need a laptop or other device to plug the camera or mini sd card into to view.I did need to google "Mobius cam instructions" to find good instructions. This website "http://www.novotm.com/camera-software.html" has everything you need and explained very clearly and to the point. It will tell you with the camera turned off and plugged into a computer, download "msetup.exe" to access the settings. The settings menu has way more options than most anyone would ever need. But the important ones are 3 or 5 minute looping vs. 10 minute segments that will not overwrite, and the ability to flip the image sensor so it can be mounted upside down under the sun shade.Excellent video AND audio quality.It's small size makes it a perfect action cam for sticking on a helmet or screwing onto the available handlebar mount although it is not water proof.

Great camera and a TON of settings if you can ever figure out how to use it!I tossed it aside when first bought because I didn't have time to figure it out. Finally, a mandatory need for a good covert camera and I forced myself to sit down and learn. I was able to find the pitiful instructions, but they did give me the basics. The problem is finding the msetup.exe gui file to set up and use this thing. Several sites took me to downloads that my malware would not let me download. FINALLY, I found the executable file, downloaded, hooked my camera to my laptop and WOW! Lots of settings and capabilities. I played around with it and then took it to work. First couple of videos were shaky (my fault) trying to get used to it and understanding just what it was recording. After reviewing the videos, my next hour and a half of covert video was seemless and I got a Kudos from the executive VP of my company. This will now be my "goto" Covert camera. It does get a little warm but who cares. It made me a lot of money the other day! And now the opportunity to make more money! I only wish I could turn off the blinking light and know what it was doing at the same time. It does have the opportunity to 180 the video and I can flip it over but then it doesn't look like a fob.

The media could not be loaded. Phew. I finally figured out how to set this up to where it is now legal to use. I've asked a few lawyers in regards to dash cam use in Illinois and all have stated there should be no audio. Now, the camera. I agree with another Amazon customer. It looks a lot better in person. You need to find the manual on line in order to figure out what each button does. I recommend you go check the manual online first. I give it 4 for now since I haven't had a chance to use it on the road. The set up took longer than expected. But I finally figured it out with the help of the Internet. The visual quality inside is nice , I was very surprised. The audio sounded very good too. But I won't be using the audio. Will update. Ps it doesn't come with a mount for the car.Update!The video works very well! Very clear picture! As you can see via the video attached.Update v.2.It is a hassle reformatting this camera every time. Honestly, it's useless. I really wanted to like it but it doesn't format correctly. Or it says it's recording when in fact it isn't...
