Ab Toning Belt and Ab Stimulator for Slender Toned Stomach Muscles, Remote for Quick and Easy Adjustments

I purchased this abflex belt to help bring some muscle back to a very overweight belly. I've had this delivered about a week ago and have used it everyday since. Warming up 2 mins channel 1 and then 5 mins channel 2. I've built up to what I can tolerate. Today usual 2 mins per warm up exercises totalling 10 mins and now 10 mins per "proper" exercise (C2) each so 50 mins. Up to strength 70 so far. I did go up slowly first each day increasing the strength to what I can tolerate. The belt only just fits my waist, but it does fit. It makes you jump sometimes and if I feel discomfort (not pain) I turn it down. The belt looks sturdy enough and the pads look good. The gel is essential. Do I feel a difference - yes I do! I can now hold in my tummy for 20 seconds and push out which is a good for me and a good exercise to do too. I obviously cannot see a difference as I'm fat, but as I'm also watching what I'm eating now, I hope to maybe see some improvement eventually. I'm realistic and know you probably need no tummy fat to see your tummy muscles. I've neglected mine for way to long. I'm pleased I've bought this. I'm doing alot of wellness hub gym, aqua aerobics too, this is a nice addition. I'm 63, if this works for me then woo hoo! Onward and inward. There's no video - no ones gonna see my belly - Yet!!

I’ve bought two Slendertone ab belts in the past and was very happy with their performance, but saw this particular model and thought I’d give it a try. I’ve had a break from using these ab belts for a good three years relying on Bullworker and wheel exercisers instead, but decided on impulse to look at the belt devices again. This new product resembled a Slendertone in terms of its overall look, however the control unit is attached to the belt and is not incorporated into the design in the same way as a Slendertone, is this a problem? No, because it has a bigger and clearer display and it’s also easier to understand with much larger buttons, so I find it an improvement when compared to the Slendertone model, besides, there’s a small pocket to store the control unit on the belt itself if you so desire, however I prefer to lay on the bed for 30 minutes, so I just placed it next to me, it’s connecting wire is only several inches long. It comes with generic batteries, although I had a box full of the Energiser brand, so I popped in two of those instead (the AA size) as I’m familiar with how long they tend to last, however I’ll likely resort to rechargeable batteries at some point. It was nice to see there’s none of those expensive sticky pads required, which aren’t cheap to keep replenishing, plus, they have a habit of sticking to the skin when you remove the belt. The unit incorporates four pads, strategically placed to target the side and front muscles, plus a tube of water based gel which therefore doesn’t stain. A small amount of gel, applied to each pad in turn, is all that’s required, after which you simply wrap the device around the waist. The Velcro fastener incidentally is very strong. All I then did was to lay down on the bed for half an hour, set the type of pulse I preferred, there are several to choose from, I tried 2 for approximately 30 seconds but quickly decided on one which suited me and then I proceeded to alter the intensity, initially up to 30 (the highest is 99) but then increased this over several minutes to 60. In terms of potential discomfort, this will vary from person to person, so totally ignore my personal settings mentioned above and obviously adjust to suit your own personal needs. I did experience soreness on the left side when I first used it, possibly because I had a hernia mesh repair in that area in August 2022, so with the left button I decreased the intensity for 5 minutes which curtailed that issue, but after 15 minutes I managed to equal the two sides again without experiencing any identical discomfort. Because of the hernia, nearly two years ago, I won’t increase the intensity to its maximum, even if I could cope with it, but it isn’t necessary. I did seek my doctor’s advice before restarting this type of exercise and he naturally suggested not doing anything to excess, which is why I had the hernia issue in the first place, but he did say that it was liable to place less harmful strain on the area when compared to other forms of abdominal exercisers, especially if I planned on laying down on a bed when using the device. I left the session length at 30 minutes, I could have shortened this, or stopped it at anytime I wanted with a simple push of a button, but because I’ve used this type of belt for a few years previously I decided to try it for a full 30 minutes, which frankly, lying on the bed, going through Tik Tok reels and my Facebook feed, it seemed to fly past. The overall effect? The contractions were certainly visible and were clearly felt, I experienced no soreness afterwards, but having used these devices before, and incorporated such exercises in my normal daily routine, that perhaps wasn’t too surprising, my waist area felt more taut, especially internally following completion. I appreciate there are no pads to buy, but there is the gel to replenish, however the sticky pads seem to wary from person to person in terms of how long they last, depending on the intensity of each workout and how often the unit is used, with the gel however you can clearly see when it’s time to reorder, so for me, if I’m going to replace anything, the gel is the better and cheaper option. I paid £39.99 for this product and bearing in mind the cost of certain items which look similar, I consider this device to offer superb value for money. I’d certainly recommend it if you’re in the market for a reasonably priced abs trainer that does what it says on the tin so to speak, or perhaps you’re merely looking for a change from an existing model.

I have been using this EMS belt for many months now and can honestly say that it is an effective, useful bit of kit. I purchased this product with the hope that it would be a reliable option for increasing my proficiency when it comes to abdominal workouts + recovery; I genuinely have a more productive session while using this as part of my routine! (I will add my routine at the end). It takes x2 AA Batteries - make sure to replace every now and then. The control hub is attached via one of those coiled wires (like old telephone lines that extend really far) and is so easy to understand + cycle through each intensity level as there is a '+' & '-' for both sets of pads and an up & down mode button which can be seen with absolute full clarity on the screen that displays complete information at all times (including a timer) you can turn the device off at any time and if the device loses contact from your body completely (at least 1 full pad) it will automatically shut off the power as a safety measurement. Premium quality device! It works in 2 stages, by having 4 contact pads that split into the 2 inner pads + the 2 outer pads, respectively targeting the middle of the abdominal muscles and the outer abdominal/inner oblique - you have full control of the inner + outer pads, so if you wish to isolate the outer, you can just work on the central abs and vice versa - you can also increase the level of intensity according to your requirements/capabilities as, usually, the central core/abs are initially 'stronger' than the outer muscle groups until trained appropriately - so you have absolute freedom + control over what level each set of pads emit. If you want to start off slow, you can as the levels go up/down by a factor of '1' (integer) and each level is easier to control and tolerate than other brands that jump up dramatically and painfully in intensity. Before you use this product, you need to apply the Conduction Gel to each pad (I like to spread it on the pads with my fingers and then wipe the excess on the area the pads will touch - my abs - to further increase it's effectiveness). It comes with x1 bottle that will last a considerable amount of time (about 1 month of semi-regular use) - you can purchase more on Amazon. It is not 'sticky' per se, only ever so slightly if you let it dry for a long time on your body, but usually after a heavy workout, you would have to wash because of the sweat... You don't need to apply loads of gel, just enough to coat the pads to prevent the raw contact sensation without the Conductive Gel. (This is a much better system than the removable/disposable gel pads you get on the really cheap EMS devices!). This device is easy to put on, simple banded design that comfortably wraps around your body and is held firmly in place with the strong Velcro fastening system (I recommend breathing in/sucking-in your stomach/abs when you put it on to make it as tight as possible so that it doesn't move/slide as this can cause great discomfort/pain). This is a great device, easy to clean after each use, simple to use, high-quality materials and very durable. I will be using this for a very long time to come! I highly recommend this product to anyone whom wishes to enhance their workout routine and gain better results from this beneficial device! It is inexpensive and easy to maintain, has great controls and freedom of use. ***(My PERSONAL Routine)*** First, I usually begin by doing 1-2 cycles of 30 minute warm-up sessions back-to-back with this device - at increased intensity and modes at several intervals... The I would continue, as normal, with my abdominal workout - variated sit-ups, crunches, bicycles, etc.. And after many sets of high-reps, I would move on to the Ab Wheel, where I go until failure, pushing myself to do more and more until I finally decide it's enough... My final exercise is now replaced by the use of this AbFlex EMS Belt where I will use it for 30 minutes at Level 99 Level 99 on different modes to fully maximise my gains, each time the 30 minutes is up, for a total of 3, I will move the belt down slightly (start at very top of Abs, then middle, then bottom) - I enhance my results this way (do not do this if you are new to EMS devices as this will be too unbearable to even get past level 30, level 30 to begin with!). I warm-down, at the end, by starting a final 30 minute cycle and gradually decreasing the intensity levels and reducing the mode to a 'warm-up' mode in order to safely and efficiently 'warm-down'.

Good bit of kit but batteries supplied were rusty and unusable. Maybe needs checking before sending out for delivery

The Build of this toning belt feels good quality and it is comfortable to wear, it feels like it would last a long time if treated right, It’s suitable for average sized people but not big enough for those that are slightly larger. the images are very exaggerated and it needs to be clear that you will not achieve those results without having defined abs already. The intensity is not as strong as other Ab toners, this one did not contract the muscles with any intensity. Unfortunately the belt that i had had 2 faulty connection pads and they did not produce more than a surface tingle on the skin which was uncomfortable. Thankfully i was able to return this for a full refund.

I have tried a few ab belts, and this is by far the best one I have tried. I had tried the water based ones with no replacement pads,, with mixed results. One had a huge fault and burnt me, one wouldn't fit and the other just did not work! I had been looking at this one and the excellent reviews it had, but I had been put off getting it to begin with for the simple reason of the controller being attached with a cord. But after the ones I had tried I decided to give this one a go. PROS: It comes in a very compact and very neat little box which contains a zipped carrier case to hold the belt and gel. In turn, it hardly takes up any room - always a bonus! It fits my 20" waist, and will go a little smaller still with no problems (I have to tuck in the rest at the back) The four pads are much bigger than I expected and work excellently with the gel Nice strong settings and easy to follow instructions - and very easy use of controller Electrical currents go up very gradually and ease you into the stronger bits, so on the very low settings you will barely feel it unless you tweak the current up CONS: I don't like that the cord is on the front and padded, making it difficult to wear jeans while wearing it I don't like that the 'holster' for the controller is at the back (well it is for me anyway) making it extra bulky and visible under clothing even when wearing a loose fitting summer dress. ( I like to wear it in the garden, but feel self-consncious if anyone is around) The cons are nit-picky really, and that is why I still give this belt a five. I have had no technical difficulties with it and one of the settings even gives me some pain relief, like a TENS machine would, but much stronger. I did buy this belt for toning, and I use it every day. The pain relief setting I found was quite by accident and I see it as an added bonus for me. I am assured that a belt with a cordeless controller is being developed, I can't wait! The seller is very attentive, very helpful and very courteous. Another reason for the 5 stars.

I've had a Slendertone belt for years, and it never really gave me the results I'd hoped. Fair enough, it prepare my abs to enable me to do sit-ups and crunches easier, after not doing any for years. Oh, and it chewed through PP9 batteries like you wouldn't believe. The AB Flex though, after using it for just a few days I'm already seeing results, my stomach is definitely flatter, and I feel like I've had a workout after using it. This unit is way better than the Slendertone, and a whole lot cheaper too. I'll explain in what ways - AF=AbFlex ST=SLendertone: 1. AF provides results, quickly - ST never really saw any visible results 2. AF uses AA batteries, and is very economical with them - ST chews through PP9s 3. AF has a variety of easy to set programmes, it's very flexible - ST could only choose 2 period settings and intensity 4. AF no discomfort from the stimulation from the belt - ST gave discomfort at any kind of level that felt like it was doing anything 5. AF durable pads, with a conductive gel, a much better solution than the - ST which used sticky gum pads, that would end up with hair and gunk attached, needed protecting when stored, and replacing periodically. 6. AF comes with a handy storage pack - ST had no storage pack, and had to be folded carefully, afer reattaching protective film (or greaseproof paper) to the contact pads. 7. ST has an elasticated, Velcro adjustable belt, that's super easy to fix in place - AF has an adjustable belt and clip, that's a little difficult to adjust to an exact fit (especially as I'm losing weight quite quickly at the moment). Also, I managed to pinch my flesh in the clip, which was easily done. I think a short elasticated section in the belt would improve it massively, to make it easier to put on and prevent pinching, and make it easier to fit.

Ich glaube nicht, dass man von solch einem Gürtel einen Sixpack bekommt. Da bedarf es schon viel Sport und einer entsprechenden Ernährung. Da fragt man sich natürlich, warum ich da fünf Sterne vergebe. Ich leide seit Jahren unter starken Rückenschmerzen und daher nutze ich diesen Gürtel als Hilfe zur Muskellockerung. Die Bedienung ist selbst erklärend und durch die vielen, unterschiedlichen Programme hat man ordentlich Abwechslung. Sehr gut finde ich auch, dass man während eines laufenden Programms die Stärke ändern kann. Das kenne ich von anderen Herstellern anders. Die lebenslange Garantie ist natürlich schon mal eine Ansage. Wenn man bedenkt, dass bei üblichen TENS Geräten alle Nase lang die Elektroden gewechselt werden müssen. Somit ist dies eine günstige und auch effektive Alternative. Und unter uns, natürlich schnalle ich mir den Gürtel nach dem Training auch gerne auf den Bauch! Wer weiß.....

Che dire su questo prodotto... Ora io vengo da un compex, chiaro non ha nulla a che vedere in rapporto, però devo dire una cosa, comodità eccezionale, fa il suo lavoro in modo ottimo per il prezzo che viene pagato e chiaramente è focalizzato esclusivamente all'addome, l ho preso essenzialmente perché praticando sport quasi ogni giorno ed incuriosito dalle recensioni volevo provarlo per alternarlo appunto al compex, soprattutto anche per la praticità del prodotto e per vedere se puntando solo alla parte addominali si vedesse qualche risultato differente. Chiaramente l' ho provato oggi soltanto in quanto mi è appena arrivato munito di batterie AA. Ovvio una persona non può pretendere che usando solo questo prodotto ti salti fuori in 5 minuti la tartaruga o si pensi ad un dimagrimento, ma alternato ad allenamenti e costanza è un sostegno decente. Non è un top, ma per il lavoro che deve fare e rapporto qualità prezzo lo consiglio ottimo complimenti.

The product was a very light belt and gives little tickle to almost nothing. Very disappointed 🙁
