Kindle Scribe Premium Pen

I needed a new kindle scribe pen after my golden retriever used mine as a chew toy (ugh - still works, just ugly and for those in the same boat, just put a pen cap over the eraser end to save your pen). I’m too much of a perfectionist though and wanted a new pen. This worked perfectly and I didn’t have to do anything! I just selected which pen type and what I wanted for my side button option. It came with new nibs as well. Easy and works great!

The Kindle pens themselves work fine! No pen delay, smooth writing.The nibs do get ground down and snapped off kinda easily, so I'm glad they come with a few replacent nibs.

I bought this to use with the remarkable 2. It works perfectly and I like it better than other options because it writes consistently and feels like a pencil. The weight of the pen feels nice and the magnet works well.

Works great as a much cheaper alternative to the reMarkable branded marker. Tips are compatible, the magnet works to hold the pen on the device (though I have a cover with a pen holder so I won't lose it with a strong jostle), and the opposite end works as an eraser like the reMarkable Marker II. Wish it were a bit heaver like the Marker II, but it's much heaver than the original Marker.

I found this to provide a better writing experience on the Remarkable 2 tablet than the Remarkable's own premium pen, and for less than half the price. It's even cheaper than the R2's no-eraser pen.I did like the weight of the R2 pen a lot better, though; the R2's is a bit heavier. I also didn't like the button on the Scribe pen (mostly because it served no purpose on the R2).Whereas the eraser on the R2 pen is as wide as the pen, very flat with a slight curve, and is too wide to be effective erasing in a precise manner, the Scribe's eraser curves a lot more... but I found it much less pleasant to use. It compresses (it's, like, on a spring on something), which I've never had a pencil do, even mechanical ones. I found it completely awkward to press down.Even if I'd kept the Remarkable 2 tablet, I would have traded in the Scribe premium for the base model without the eraser, because I would have never wanted to use the eraser on this model.Five stars for relative value to the Remarkable's own pen; three stars for design/use because of the eraser (in my opinion, the Staedler jumbo has the best eraser in terms of what feels and acts like what I expect from a pencil eraser, but it has the worst tip of the three as well).My advice is, even though the magnet is weaker on the Scribe pen, if you like the Remarkable 2 tablet enough to buy it, don't buy either of their pens and buy the no-eraser version of the Scribe pen.

Lost my original kindle scribe pen. Ordered this one from Amazon and it worked and looked just like my original. I then found my original so so happy… but lost it again 😆 I’m happy.

I lost my original kindle pen and had to order a new one. I really like the Kindle Premium Pen, I think my only complaint is that the tips don't last as long as I would like. However, I am still giving it a 5- star rating because it works so well.

I got the kindle scribe for my husband’s birthday and decided to get him this pen because it has the eraser on the end and it has other features! My husband loves it! He says it was worth money, easy to hold and use and great quality.
