i ordered this item ready assembled how ever on up packing i found it in several pieces .

I searched long and hard to find a hedgehog house that ticked all my boxes. Robust, sloping roof, access to clean, maze entry and waterproof. From the description this one seemed to tick all my boxes and I was extremely happy when it arrived. The build quality is better than others I had seen and the actual box has much thicker walls than others. I’ve bought it ready for the spring so I can’t comment on how it copes with the weather yet however looking at the quality in comparison to others I am feeling really positive.

Really poor quality hedgehog house. On receipt, the roof was split to the point of falling apart and the nails holding the roof in place were just about coming out. This does not appear to be a transit issue but more to do with the dimensions of the build not being quite correct so that when someone has tried to close the lid, the strain on the structure has been too much ... this is most likely beause the clip which is supposed to secure the roof onto the base is far too short. So, it looks like someone has tried to force the clip, thereby wrecking the whole roof...the wood and nails have given way. Plus the back wall of the house was split.Really, really poor!

Hutch not suitable for hibernation as it allows rain to get inside the hutch.

Wonderful product, just beautifully made and worth every penny. I would recommend this item.
