Yet again time for another replacement drive for my laptop, 3rd time lucky! Previous drives have been both Seagate and Western Digital with all having a full working day put on them, from early hours to late at night, so a failure here and there is going to occur given the length daily up time and the intensive processes or programs I use and the length of ownership each time (2 to 3 years) The drive itself installed and loaded with Windows 10 just fine and so far has been working as it should. Not sure if a pending fault or just a little over active actuator but every now and then a slight metallic ping occurs which is timed around when writes are occuring. Time will tell what this is as I haven't come across it on any of my previous drives, thankfully Amazon are top notch when it comes to faulty products so I am covered more or less. Performance is adequate with no problems in read or write time etc. Due to the mishaps of failed drives in the past a backup plan is now a dead cert. Thankfully Windows 10 has the ability to have documents auto sync'd to my One Drive with each of the other cloud services taking care of some of the items depending on topic and file size etc. From now on the adopted backup strategy for me to overcome any loss of valuable data is the 3-2-1 method. 3 copies of data, 2 on laptop and home server, 1 on 1 each, and of course 1 copy on the cloud / online services (One Drive, Dropbox, Googledrive). Hopefully, my data will now be able to be restored to their original state should another drive go down on me.

I have bought this brand first time and I can say it's looking to be good quality hard drive. Packing was well protected, it was packed in bubble wrap and two amazon card board envelopes. I have used usb c enclosure for this hdd and it works perfectly. Speed is decent as advertised and total capacity was 1.02 tb. Hard Drive is quiet and doesn't make any noise. I will definitely get couple more of this drives... I wish that all delivery services would be as quick as amazon. I seen notification that this was in Italy around 6pm and next day around 11am I had my hard drive at home. This is crazy how quickly they can move stuff around Europe.

I chose this to replace the small 500GB one in my PS4. It's so simyto change it and it has quadrupled my storage so there's more than enough room for games. The only issue I have had with it was that it seemed to fail after I first installed it and had been using it for about a week. I set it up again and it has been fine ever since and that was a long while ago now so I feel as though I can recommend this as a good upgrade for PS4 storage.

Installation is very easy and is very good quality no scratches whats so ever and it is very good for the homebase 3 when using to connect eufy doorbell.

Working Perfectly with Tapo H500 Hub

Drive is for movie storage to use with my Samsung tv. Drive is very quiet, fits into external enclosure. Installed without problems. Had a delay on delivery due to Christmas and post office services. Contacted the supplier and they were very helpful, keeping me well informed on delivery status. Cannot fault the supplier. Will buy again from this company.

Bought for using with my DLNA router for memory sake photos and movies. Housed it in a Transcend USB 3 casing. Transferred about 500GB in roughly 40min (write 12.5GB/m) which is nice for a SATA hdd. Got it in single anti-static plastic bag with label, not retail box. Was apprehensive about bad-blocks so left it on disk scan and it came out alright. Been using for two months now, no problems.
