Corona Large 2 Door 5 Drawer Sideboard Pine Dining Room

This sideboard looks and feels brilliant. Solid timber through out with a good finish. HOWEVER, being a flat pack, you need to build it yourself. Not for the first time builder, a very complex build but at the end you have a very useful and good looking sideboard. The quality of the fit of part is really good and the fixings work a treat. Well recommended but take your time building it.

Needed something to tidy up under a worktop and this did the job perfectly and with a set of aftermarket handles looks great. Very time consuming to assemble but very easy, theres just a lot of bits to do. having done a few corona pieces im used to it, if your not using a power screw driver expect hand cramps, i use one to do the screws up most of the way and then nip them tight with a hand screwdriver that way you speed it up but minimise the risk of splitting or burying the heads because the wood is very soft Once assembled is becomes a very strong structure and being solid wood you can adapt it or strengthen it as you see fit, The finish is matt and semi smooth, not varnished and so if you wanted easy to paint( which i did consider) I would recommend varnishing the top, as it will soak up any liquids you spill on it

This took a little while to construct (about 5 hours total and I'm a professional builder) but I suppose a lot of that is to do with the fact that it was a one off. If I were to build another it would be half that time. It's well worth and advisable to check all the components and fixings first. I was missing one small black japanned screw but I had a spare in my shed so it wasn't a problem. All the other various fixings were there, and each bag of multiple parts contained small slips of paper with a letter printed on them so you could identify screws etc which might seem very similar to each other. Lots of similar bits and pieces, so read the instructions carefully. It goes together very well once you figure it out and the finished product is lovely and substantial. For the price it's a good peice of furniture.

Got this to match our other Mexican pine, thinking it would be the same. It looks great but we had to plane pieces of wood as they didn't fit, some pieces were a little rough and splintery and it just wasn't as solid as our other furniture from a different seller. It's also a bit yellowy but we can wax it to match our other. There are gaps around the door and draws... But it still is value for money, think we just got very good quality before, so a bit disappointed. If we hadn't fixed it together ourselves we wouldn't have noticed as much because once up it looks OK. Worth the money and a great space saver... Oh and the screws and fittings were not labelled, but because we had fitted similar we were able to work it out.

Excellent value for money - delighted with the quality - does take time to assemble - some tips - accessories (screws hinges etc come in 4 seperate packs with letters that identify each one ie A; B; C etc get 4 plastic trays for each packet and keep them all separate with their identifying tickets. That way you can keep referring back to the excellent instructions for assembly. Also follow the instructions for assemble exactly ie step 1 - step2 - step 3 and so on. Tip: you can use a power screw driver on the internal assembly parts but on the outside more noticeable screws etc take care and use a hand screwdriver to avoid slipping and marking the wood. Tip 3. Lay cabinet flat on its back when fitting doors. The hinge screw positions are marked with a pointed indentation put each screw half way into the wood at the mark for each hinge - do this without the hinge - do the same on the doors - put screws half way into the wood at the marked spot - then take out the screws and attach the hinges to the doors first - then line up the door take the screws out of the frames and then line up the frame part of the hinges with the holes made by the screws and put the screws back into the holes you have created - there is ample adjustment on both the door and frame parts of the hinges so don't worry - this makes a tricky job so much more simple - use a hand screwdriver for all the work on the front of the unit - less chance of slipping and marking the wood - good luck - it's well worth the effort - Brian K.

Very nice unit and everything just make sire you have all the parts and extra screws as the screws provided are crap and bits of wood is missing built the whole unit got to the draws last and one side of the draw is missing ridiculous so I've had togo and find other wood that would replace said missing part as I wasn't going to take apart 3 hours of work to send back

Es un mueble robusto, de buena calidad. Muy bonito. Tiene bastante dificultad para montarlo ya que trae infinidad de tornillos, tacos, etc. Aunque todo muy bien explicado. La única pega: No se puede utilizar atornillador eléctrico, el brazo se os va a quedar....

Il mobiletto è carino e di buona fattura senza troppe pretese, arriva completamente smontato. Unico appunto sono le istruzioni che risultano solo con figure, poco chiare e pure incomplete, tuttavia con un poco di pratica e intuizione si riesce a montarlo in un paio d’ore. Nel complesso sono soddisfatto.

Non comptant d'être de qualité médiocre, et bien que le colis soit intact , c'est en cours de montage que nous nous sommes rendus compte qu'il manquait deux traverses support de tiroirs et la "cloison" d'un fond de tiroir,ainsi que trois tasseaux sur lesquels coulissent les tiroirs, nous avons dû fabriquer ces pièces car l'assemblage était déjà commencé et rendant ainsi le renvoi du colis impossible, nous attendons un dédommagement.

Item sell via amazon. But did take on because the other commande was bad
