good product, decent price
Overall good product. Pricing could be a bit better considering the overall quality.

Wasn't sure it would work but it does the job for a bargain price!
I was looking for a basic desk stand to attach a Shure SM7B to. I wasn't convinced this one would be up to the job but I was willing to risk it for the price. The SM7B is a pretty heavy mic so I expected that there might be a tendency for the stand to tip over but to my surprise it didn't! Of course, there's not much adjustability like there is with a boom arm type stand, but if you just need something simple this works fine.

Good price
I bought 2 of these to use as floor stands to mic a kick drum and a guitar amplifier. They are a little smaller than I thought. Havent set them up yet but I'm pretty sure they'll do the job. At £10 each seemed a good cheap solution.

Not safe for your expensive mic
If you have a heavy mic like an SM57 then do not get this. If you have a very light mic they could be OK but not for me thanks. Far too unsteady, needs much more weight at the bottom. Mics can be expensive for quality one's. If you need to use this stand at or close to it's maximum height with a heavy mic this stand becomes unstable. If you have a lighter mic it could be fine but I haven't tried it myself so cannot recommend. As a result of my review I was offered a refund so I have edited this review to perhaps be a bit fairer so just to be clear my concerns are based on using an SM57 at close to the full height of the stand and if using a lighter mic it could be ok but I have not tried and have no opinion about it. I have not taken the refund, too much hassle for the amount involved.

Affordable Desktop Mic Stand
I bought this for a GoXLR dynamic microphone. The microphone is quite heavy and if not balanced properly(extending the stand to high), it would topple over. The stand is well-made and when used properly, it will serve its purpose. The anti-slip legs hold steady on smooth surfaces and the bolts for tightening the adjustments all work properly. If you want your mic higher than 9 inches off the surface of your desk and it's heavy one, then I would not recommend this. All over, this is a great product for its price.

Part was missing
Just what I needed to hold a microphone behind a cajon drum. Perfect height for this purpose. Rather thin legs but steady enough for what I need. However I needed to use the included microphone clip to hold a Shure microphone. However the thread converter which was supposed to be included was missing so the mic clip would not fit the stand. Luckily I already had a spare converter which sorted out my problem. If you want to mount a hand held mic on this you must have the thread converter.

Guitar amp mic stand
This little mic stand holds my Shure SM57 mic at a perfect height to mic a guitar amp. Today at church we sued it to mic a Cajon ( box ) drum. it held the Shure SM57 at the perfect height. If your in a band of any kind, You need these little stands for your low to ground mic needs. Metal stand with a standard plastic clip. sturdy and strong. Small and looks better than a boom stand pointing down. The price point, you cant go wrong.
