Laser 3694 Drywall Bit Set 5pc

With 20 years Drylining experience i feel i am qualified to give my opinions on these excellent drywall Bits. If you are not experienced in this job you won't know hand fed electric drywall screwdrivers have a clutch. Basically, when you press the trigger nothing happens. It's only when you press the screw against the surface of the plasterboard that the cogs engage and drive in the screw.(like a clutch in a car) This action enables the depth gauge to work so NONE of the screws go in too deep breaking the paper making the fixing worthless. So, The vast majority of these Bits you see in cataloges and on the net are totally rubbish in my experience. The trouble is the cone on the end is fixed to the bit. So there is no give to allow for correct depth, they just shoot in the screws, the screws break the paper making the board incorrectly fixed thus waiting to pop and come loose. Ceiling board comes down and everyone is unhappy. Whereas the cone on these bits have a couple of millimeters give, allowing for correct depth, turning your drill that has a chuck, into and effiecient drywall screwdriver. Put on a low speed if new to this. Naturally i use a professional gun most of the time. But on occasion when there is no mains power i will use a cordless with one of these bits in and they are just as good as my £100 plus driver. Little slower yes, but if you are a joiner etc who does a bit of plasterboard work on occasion buy these to put in the end of you cordless drill. They are second to none. Or a diy person, these will be the best buy you'll get for under a £5. And one bit lasts ages, over 1000's of screws. Happy Screwing Freddiebooks

These work really well allowing you to go for it with your screwdriver without punching a bunch of big holes in your plasterboard. Really speeds up DIY work.

Good value and work really well resulting in nice below flush finish and seem hard wearing.

Used them before and they make work very easy. Both another 5pc pack which have only 4 usable bits. The 5th one is different. Never seen a conical bit head.

Works great for drywall/plaster board installation with any regular driver. Value for money, seriously.

I've only used one of these on a small job so far. So it worked like it's supposed to but too early to give it 5 stars.

Things things are fantastic, does the job and perfect for getting the drywall screw to the correct depth, still using the 1st PH2 screw bit. Done over 100 drywall screws, and five of them come in a pack.

Artisan maçon je pose régulièrement des cloisons sèches, bien sûr j’utilise une visseuse debrayable spéciale plaque de plâtre, mais pour de faibles quantités la simple visseuse fait l’affaire. C’est là que l’embout est très utile. Ces embouts sont efficaces et de bonne qualité. L’avantage par rapport à d’autres embouts c’est que la butée de profondeur en polymère est désolidarisée de l’embout et tourne comme un écrou libre autour de celui-ci ce qui a pour effect de ne pas abîmer le la feuille de carton qui retient le plâtre au moment du contact. Le carton de part et d’autre du plâtre confère la résistance des plaques c’est pourquoi il ne faut pas que la vis soit enfoncée trop profonde ou que le carton soit arraché autour de la vis comme le fond les embouts tout fer dont la butée est soudée à l’embout. Je recommande donc plutôt deux fois qu’une, très bon achat. J’espère que mon commentaire vous sera utile, cdlt.

Je ne regrette pas cette achat rien a dire bon embout la vis s arrête nickel. Pas de réglage et pas de glissement du guide (ce qui peut avoir sur des embouts plastique ) Bon achat je recommande
