Good idea
Bought to stop slugs climbing up plant pots to plant. I put one strip around top of pot, didnt stop the slugs, perhaps better to try a thicker strip or put 2 or 3 rings around pot closeish together. or try something else to stop slugs

IT KEEPS THE SLUGS AWAY.
I DIDN'T REALISE HOW NARROW IT WAS, SHOULD HAVE GOT A WIDER ONE. BUT STILL DOES THE JOB, BREAKS EASILY THATS WHY I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A WIDER ONE.

Didnt stop the snails
To stop snails entering kitchen which it didn’t. Also useless potted plants. Suppose a wider tape might be better

Makes the pots look pretty but doesn’t stop slugs.
Easy to use, sticks well, even after all the rain we have.Does bring a nice bit of decoration to boring pots in the garden.

Does not work on snails
We have slugs in the actual flat when it rains!! I though with this I could pinpoint the place where they enter. So when I saw one going towards the tape I was very happy as I expected it to turn back. But no, it just went over it as if the tape was not there!! Only after I watched about 5 YouTube videos, I realised this is too thin and narrow. i should have got good quality electric guitar tape. According to videos, that one works as thicker and wider. I have not tried it but looks like it works. This one - not at all.
