Great bulbs and dim perfectly
I needed a new bulbs to replace some 10 year old LED bulbs that started to develop flickers or turning off from overheating. These bulbs are great, they are a color match for the other 2700K bulbs I have and dim very well on my Lutron Caseta dimmers. As long as I get the 10 years I got out of the Sylvania bulbs they will have been worth it.

It works with electronic dimmers
The bulbs are an easy to screw in direct replacement for incandescent BR40. I was apprehensive to buy them at first, because every dimmable bulb on Amazon claims to work without issues and then you read reviews about flickering. I’m adding this review so others with electronic dimmers like mine can understand that the lights will actually work. See the pic of my dimmer. Note that the lowest setting is a little brighter than incandescent but still low light and cozy enough.

Way brighter, wider dispersion, and bigger than 65W incandescent bulbs
My house is filled with 75W BR40 incandescent bulbs, some of which have relatively little use, and these "65W equivalent" bulbs are significantly brighter than any of them. They're also slightly longer, so they stick out of some of the fixtures a bit and produce more glare. Plus the diffuser on the front makes them basically directionless, giving them a much wider dispersion than a typical BR40 flood, which has kind of a cheap look and again produces more direct glare.

Don't know about Longevity
I have been buying Philips LED bulbs for years. My oldest ones are now starting to have issues with circuits that drive the LEDs.The LEDs are fine. The driver is causing the LEDs to flicker on/off.These new ones are more plastic and less metal so they are less expensive. These new ones are also dimmable. They don't turn instantly OFF. They turn on quick but not off.

No RFI
Many LED bulbs produce RFI -- Radio Frequency Interference, that interferes with my ham radio operations. These Philips bulbs produce no RFI that I have been able to detect. I also like the way the color becomes "warmer" when they are dimmed down.

Very soft light
Had a lot of trouble finding a BR40 LED with low enough kelvin temperature to match the incandescent bulbs I was replacing in my bedroom. These were the absolute closest I could find. Granted when they are on full blast they are brighter, but when dimmed even just a little bit they look almost identical to the incandescents they replace.

High quality light
Instant on, bright, good color. I've always liked Philip's bulbs

Inconsistent quality control
3/4 were good but the 4th is visibly dimmer and does not maintain a consistent brightness
