Works great, doesn't look too bad.
I have applied two pieces to a laptop for better cooling due to increased ground clearance. 8mm is not too big and not too small, it has a slight bulge when the laptop is inside the laptop bag, but nothing too big that it would hinder closing of the bag.The first picture shows the laptop upside down. I applied them to the rear because the intake and exhaust were at the back of the laptop. The second image shows the rear of the laptop when it is set on a flat table. And for comparison, the third image shows the front of the laptop where only stock boots are installed.The laptop runs relatively cooler under normal working conditions, but could use a bit more airflow while gaming.Previously I had applied a similar product to a decade old laptop and used it for 5 years. It was extremely helpful because that 10" netbook did not have any cooling fans. It raised the entire laptop and gave a much better viewing angle.

Not good for dining chairs sitting on rubber.
I really thought these would be perfect but was dissapointed. Used on our dining chairs that sit on Lino... Within 2 days all the pads came off the chairs we used.. Stuck to floor rather than chair. I think they would be perfect for static furniture or similar but not for dining chairs.. Sorry was very dissapointed as they were not cheap for sticky pieces of rubber.

Great stick on feet
Value for money replacement rubber feet which are stable and don't slide around on shiny surfaces.
