Solid and lightweight - Many useful features and worth every penny
It took me a long time to finally pluck up the courage and purchase this tripod but I can saw without a doubt now that I'm glad I did. This is my first carbon fibre tripod, with my previous tripods being aluminium and weighing an awful lot more.PROS- Light. if you're moving from a similar sized aluminium tripod then the difference on location and travelling is immediately noticeable- Sturdy. I use mine with a 5dmk2 and the kit 24-105mm L lens. It hardly notices the weight of my setup but I like this it's overly capable as it means I trust it to hold stable in awkward positions- Easy and quick to setup. In researching compact and lower weight tripods I tried many of the travel tripods with a twist lock system, for me that just doesn't work very well. The springy clips on this tripod are easily opened three at a time with one hand so setting up even at maximum heights is a doddle.- Adjustable leg movement and clip tension. It comes with a tool to adjust the tension of the clips, and if you can get hold of a torn screwdriver then you can also easily adjust the effort needed to open and close the legs themselves. I found the setup a bit stiff at first and would recommend ever so slightly loosening the leg movements if you agree after trying it outCONS- Price. Its a lot to pay for someone like myself who does not earn from my photography. That being said, it is a high quality product, it will be sturdy enough to grow with the needs of most, and I have no doubt it will last well if I take care of it- No carry case. Not a big deal, I would recommend the £16 Manfrotto strap. Whilst it's not perfect its simple and effective

Heavy and tough, ideal for the great outdoors and weather.
I was undecided on my next tripod. It was this or a 3LT rick which is carbon fibre with ballhead for £199. Both as usual had pros and cons and I love my current carbon fibre tripod and really fancied buying another. After much deliberating and watching countless YT videos on each product, I took the plunge and bought this. The main advantage was the ability to turn the column horizontal. The way it slides up and across is pure engineering genius, its also easy to set up and is ideal for doing low level or macro work. The top of the column has a rotating spirit level to ensure your tripod is on an absolutely flat level surface before shooting. The clips on the tripod legs are easily lockable/unliockable. Making setting it up simple and quick. The 190 tripod is available in Aluminium or carbon fibre variants, mine is the aluminium version. I bought this over the CF version purely down to price. Its clearly heavier than the CF version but I can only guess that this is a good thing and will give it a good wind resistance when out and about. Two of the legs feature a hard rubber sleeve to let you carry it in some comfort during any cold spells. Making your hand less likely to freeze against bare metal. The black and red colour scheme really compliment each other on this tripod too. In the hand it feels heavy but thats to be expected, it isn't a travel tripod and it doesn't pretend to be. Like my ballhead review, This tripod will last me many many years and probably all weather conditions the weather can throw at it..Again it wasn't cheap but this will last me many years. The only negative I can find is that a tripod bag wasn't included, or at least a shoulder strap to carry it. These can be bought separately but I feel that this is something that should come with the tripod, especially with the price it's selling at.

Brilliant tripod. Solid as a rock.
This is the first time I've bought a tripod at over the £100+ range. It is so much sturdier than anything I've used previously and has a "heft" that is reassuring. Used with my XPRO head, it's as solid as a rock. It's not the lightest for it's size, but I'm personally quite ok with it. The ability to twist the centre column horizontally is both ingenious and simple, although the weight of the XPRO and my camera (Canon 70D) when the column is fully extended allows for a little flex. Sliding the column horizontally inwards 100mm cures this (ymmv). All in all, a solid tripod and great value. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended.

Great tripod - but heavy
Solid full size tripod in every way it doesn't move around on you and has all the capabilities you would expect- but heavy and that was before buying a head to go with it....

Great Tripod! although maybe a little expensive.
Im using this tripod mostly with my Nikon D750 and a selection of lenses. The largest so far has been the 70-200mm Nikkor, and ithis tripod is able to handle it very well. In windy conditions I often take the precaution of using the hook to hang my rucksack in the centre of the tripod for additional weight and stability. This is because of one occasion in very strong wind when the tripod was blown over with the camera attached.I like that it folds small and is pretty light. It is also very flexible thanks to the horizontal main tube option and the available arm attachments that can be used for many different purposes...reflectors/flash guns etc. All in all Im very happy and would recommend it over the 3 section version as it is able to become so small. Also the Quick Power Lock leg system makes for extremely quick and easy deployment. It is a little expensive although I got it as a warehouse deal for almost 50% of its current price!

Excellent tripod. Very sturdy, so light (which is what I was looking for). For high wind condition to get greater stability, I can hnag my camera bag on the hook and it becomes realy solid even at full extension. With the horizontal position of the centre colum and the tripo legs opens fully I can get my camera down to ground level for Macro or creative landscape shot, plus the height, when extended, is above my eye level.I also like the way the legs are independantly controlled so that in certain conditions I can have one leg horizontal against a wall or tree to get in really close while the others as firm on the ground.I've always loved Manfrotto but I'm really impressed with this one.

Treppiede stabile e robusto

Mismatch
Why no connector provided to fit the camera socket?? it’s not a standard screw to fit canon MK3 .. you may need an additional connector (

Sturdy
After many tripods later, I think I have found what I am looking for, a sturdy and versatile tripod, maybe it’s heavier for some people, but it’s very sturdy, and very agile, legs extends fast and smooth, combination with Manfrotto MHXPRO-3WG tripod head, I’m very happy with the results.
