Helped with Keratosis Pilaris
It's important to know this product isn't a miracle cure. The 'after' image doesn't do it full justice, the KP is still there and still very visible but even you can see for yourself the difference it has made for me. I do not have sensitive skin, and I did more than just use this lotion so it's important you all understand this process. These pictures were taken around a week and a half apart from each other.I bought Revitale Salicylic Acid Scrub Soap (about £5 from England, can be bought on Amazon too!) Bought a pair of exfoliating gloves and now each time I take a shower, the water is on warm (not hot) and I exfoliate in lots of little circles using that soap on the worse affected areas for my KP (my legs and backs of arms). As soon as I come out the shower I use my Amlactin moisturiser, and then again in the evening (twice a day as bottle recommends). These are my results. Please note in the first image my bathroom was a little colder (and all us KP sufferers know that makes it worse) but despite that my KP hasn't been nearly as bad as it once was.Amlactin is very greasy, doesn't absorb quick at all and has a very faint smell of... burning wood? Thats the best description I have of it. A lot of people are saying it made their KP worse, but it seems to have made mine better. I recommend trying it but also take a good look at the soap you're using too.Like I said it's not a miracle cure for us KP sufferers (where you at Fam? I feel ya...) but it has helped mine. I still have it all over my legs but it's less aggressive looking than it was. I will continue to use it until the bottle is empty and might try something else if there's not been further improvements. I am trying to undo years of neglect on my skin care so I should at least give it a decent amount of time to see if it works.Hope this helps some people!P.s I also have been losing weight, eating healthier and exercising healthier too, but I started all this months and months before using Amlactin so I am sure the results are a result of my skin care regime instead of other life style factors, but important that maybe you should take it into consideration.Mosco

Best lotion ever
My legs have always been very bad: dry skin, ingrown hair, KP, a nightmare! I’ve tried many many lotions but Amlactin gave me the best results. I’ve been using it for about 20 days now, just once a day before going to bed and as you can see from the picture KP has got so much better, no more ingrown hair and the skin is super soft. Seriously a life saver!

AT LAST! A CURE!
This is a miracle cream! I have suffered with various dry and sensitive skin conditions (psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis) and was desperately looking for a remedy for the red scaly patches which had developed on my upper arms where I suffer from keratosis pilaris. This cream has completely healed the skin in just 2 weeks. While the KP can't be eradicated completely, this cream applied once daily is keeping the skin smooth and bump-free - and the sore scaly patches have completely vanished. I had previously forked out for La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+ on the recommendation of a dermatologist but that was totally ineffective. After a bit of googling I found this product and I'm over the moon - can't recommend it highly enough!

Metamorphosis
I’ve suffered from extremely dry, scurfy skin all my life - the kind that creates a snowstorm every time you take off your t-shirt. I’ve been using Body Shop Hemp Body Butter for years to keep it comfortable and that does help, especially when you first put it on, but as the day goes on, my skin dries out again. Amlactin works miracles. My skin is so smooth and soft and stays that way - like the inside of a bunny rabbit’s ears. I have had keratosis on my legs and especially stubborn and persistent on my outer upper arms for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried all sorts of creams and exfolients and nothing touched it. On my legs, the keratosis disappeared after a couple of days using Amlactin morning and night. On my arms there are some last vestiges after two weeks of use, and though I can’t quite believe it, I think it will be entirely gone before long. It is like it softens and then dissolves away the dead skin cells. My heels were also really dry with deep cracks that would sometimes bleed. I ran a bic razor over them after about a week of using Amlactin and the dead skin just came away. Sorry if this grosses you out but the transformation in my feet is amazing. The soles are smooth and supple. Like actual skin rather than cardboard. I’m so comfortable in my skin now. I will be using this cream for the rest of my life. I doesn’t smell great when you are putting it on but as soon as it is rubbed in the smell disappears. A small price to pay for such great results and although it is quite expensive, for me, it is totally worth it.

Softening :)
Like: super fast delivery, softens skin in a way I have never experienced before (note: I do not have KP or any extreme skin texture irregularities).Dislike: I have seen no difference in the appearance of even minor scars, the smell is absolutely awful (so perhaps limit to nighttime use)Note: the manufacturer recommends that the lotion is used twice daily, so if for those using it once daily, you may not see a difference in skin texture!

Best cream I've found for Ichthiosis Vulgaris
I've had ichthiosis my whole life and nothing ever worked. I settled with baby oil but it was still rubbish really. Then one day I did a deep dive and came across a type of lotion which I ordered AND IT WORKED. Problem was, it cost a fortune for a tiny bottle. Six months later, I thought there must be another solution and I found Amlactin. Nothing has EVER made my skin soft and got rid of all the dry flakes before. It's worth its weight in gold.

Makes me feel human again
After having rough scaly skin for years as a result of DSAP (disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis) I am pleased to say that after using this product once a day for the past 7 days, my skin feels much softer, hydrated and less scaly. I feel almost human again and am even able to use a fake tanning product without it sticking to all those dry skin patches. Expensive for a moisturiser but will last a long while, I would not be without it now
