As a father of four, I am always looking for fun ways to interact with my children in meaningful ways. For my teen girls, that's often just time spent grabbing a coffee or playing video games, but for my 8-year-old son it's things like darts, biking, fishing, and Beyblades. Two years ago, my son started talking about these spinning warriors that get thrown into an arena and duke it out until one of them explodes. I had no idea what he was talking about, until we got our first set. We must have played for hours, figuring out different power combinations (as he would call it), coming up with fighter names, and spending the best quality time together. Since that first day, we have amassed a fairly large collection of these "arena warriors", but I'm always on the lookout for new entries into the plastic dome of terror! Enter the Bey Battling Set.When I first opened the box to this incredible collection, I was blown away at the overall quality and construction of these bey blades. One thing stuck out to me though, not only are there a couple thicker more powerful looking Bey's, but many of them have a much sturdier base as well as fit. These may be better constructed than many I've purchased in single packs. Also, the spinners are different than many of the same molds I've purchased over the years. Needless to say, I was incredibly impressed at the variety of what you get.The function is the same as any other Bey Blade, insert and zip. They break apart after time spinning and knocking together, and the shooters and spinners are also similar in fit and function as the other's you might be used to. Overall, the best part of this kit is the value you get for your money. To get 12 Bey Blades, zippers, shooters, a carrying box, and accessories for this price, is just a fantastic deal.Pros: These are every bit the same quality of those sold in box stores, except you get lots of them! What a deal. The colors, the build quality, and the accessories are top notch.Cons: I kind of wish the box was a little sturdier, but for the price-point, I really couldn't ask for much more.Final Thoughts: We absolutely love this kit, what a deal!

Not the original bey blades, looks great. Works great if just look for toys. Wasn't labeled right because I kept looking for beyblades but will do for now.

This set has easily broken beys that should not break!!!
