STAEDTLER 8704 01 BK FIMO Clear Gloss Varnish for Polymer Modelling Clay - 35ml (Pack of 1)

I bought this together with the air drying modelling clay. I used this to varnish small items that I made using the fimo clay. It is a gloss varnish and adds a lovely look to the items that have been varnished. A little goes a long way and after varnishing all of our small items that we had made, it has hard to even see that we had used any varnish at all. I only applied one coat of varnish but you could use multiple layers and allow to dry between each coat. I am pleased with this varnish and the size is convenient. The lid seals tightly closed. As it is water based, it is also convenient to use this varnish on many other craft projects apart from using it with the modelling clay.

Mmmmkay. Let me explain this right here. My first pot I got was eaten by my little dog called Rosie. She ate right through the lid (didn't eat any gloss thankfully) and it spilled everywhere. HOT DAMN! So I had to get some more. I couldn't find anything cheaper than this. Fantastic price for the amount you get and it's going to last ages. I mean my first pot would have if the little doggie hadn't decided to make it her latest meal. Anyway! You can't find any gloss better or cheaper. Literally I looked everywhere for gloss and nobody else even does gloss for fimo. You can get this gloss for way more expensive prices but this is the same thing and cheaper. Hooray!

Good for clay leaves nice gloss

I’ve bought this for the second time now because it’s amazing. For others that also run a small business and make earrings or anything else that needs a lovely glossy coating that dries fast and isn’t sticky afterwards then I recommend this so much! I use this for my custom keycaps too that rely on durability as they’re used a lot and it keeps it’s finish

this varnish is prone to peeling off. its good for personal projects but not for professional use.

Es un buen barniz brillante que deja una capa dura y suave. Tengo que decir que no es súper brillante pero es lo que necesitaba. Para dar un brillo más o menos intenso suelo necesitar al menos 3 capas sobre la arcilla polimerica. Para evitar las burbujas recomiendo echar capas finas y de una sola pasada antes que intentar terminar deprisa ya que le quedan muchos desperfectos. En unos 20 min está seco al tacto y se puede echar otra capa pero endurece del todo en un día aprox. Pienso que es un poco caro para la cantidad pero en cada uso gasto muy poquito así que lo recomiendo

J'ai récemment acheté le vernis brillant Fimo de STAEDTLER pour ajouter une finition éclatante à mes créations en polymère. Je suis absolument ravie du résultat. La brillance est juste parfaite, ni trop matte ni trop éblouissante, ce qui fait ressortir les détails de mes créations.Concernant le rapport qualité-prix, je trouve que c'est un investissement raisonnable pour la qualité offerte, même si le prix peut sembler un peu élevé pour un flacon de 35 ml. Mais vraiment peu de produit suffit pour couvrir une grande surface, donc le flacon dure assez longtemps.En résumé, ce vernis brillant Fimo de STAEDTLER est un excellent choix pour ceux qui cherchent à ajouter une touche finale professionnelle à leurs créations en polymère. Je recommande vivement ce produit et je continuerai à l'utiliser pour mes futurs projets.
