This is a great quality item
This is a great quality item. The plastic it's made of is strong and it handles firmly as an cutting tool. It comes with spare blades and a little pad to put the needle on so you don't get a hole in your work (although the needle will eventually make it's way through the plastic pad). All the circles I cut were perfect, the blade doesn't move off kilter while cutting. And you can cut with a really light touch too. This is SO much better than the Jakar one I bought which was poor quality and useless as it moves while cutting.

Circling around the point
I purchased the circle cutter to cut the wheel well out of my rc car body shell. It was simple to use and to ensure a neat cut through the polycarbonate I had to do light repeated cuts with the compass cutter until I could simply pull the cut out from the body shell. Had I tried to cut through the shell in one sweep I fear I may have torn or ripped the plastic.. Only slight issue is that the rubber stability disk that comes with this has an x engraved into it to identify the middle of where you want your compass point to be.. mine however was off center. it didn't affect my use of this tool but it may yours so just a heads up. so cheap .. choice of blades.. stable and sharp enough to cut through my rc car body (polycarbonate) with ease and gave a really neat finish.

Just works!
Excellent little tool - it works really well and is easy to use. I suppose the only thing that could be done to improve it would be to have a wheel to adjust the radius of the cut (as you find on micrometers). Even without this I was able to cut very accurate 75mm discs through multiple sheets of thick paper. So, great tool, well made, easy to use, inexpensive, and it arrived very quickly (in two days, one day before the estimated arrival).

Good quality reliable cutter
This is a great product. I used it on gold card and it cut through with little effort. The adjustment is strong - I cut 50 circles and the radius never slipped. I used the centrepoint hole to enable me to cut one side of the card then locate the cutter on the other side, to avoid any rough edges. The cutter had pretty well cut through from one side so this was easy. It does only cut clockwise, which I took a few attempts to realise!

Simple but effective
Simple little tool purchased for quick masking discs for scale models. In contrast to more expensive cutters, this takes a bit of adjusting as the blade is not spring mounted. Instructions are minimal, for best results twirl it between thumb and forefinger, quite a bit of trial and error to get a good result. It is well made and there are few moving parts to damage. It comes with some spare blades which are conveniently housed in the blade cover. For its price I am happy that it is fit for my purposes.

Circle perfect every time....
Now I bought this specificaly to cut foamboard circles, no fabric, no paper and my foamboard circles were cut absolutely perfectly. So I also tried fabric and paper.... also perfect. The fabric should have a little weight to it though (leather, suede, felt, canvas...) as thin cotton (hanky material for instance) tends to move around a little (umm, well a lot really, lol.....) and perfect circles can take some time with these lightweights. But for me and what I required of this device, I'm extremely happy with the results. 5mm and 3mm foamboard circles, perfect every time.

this is an excellent tool for doing just as it says on the packet - well pleased - it cuts very easily through a thin card that I use in my artwork - self explanatory on how to use, sturdy, applying pressure to the top along with the depth of the pin on the upright arm ensures the circle you are cutting is faultless

Olfa CMP-1
Very nice little item. Good quality, I'm using it to cut wheel dots for vintage RC buggies out of 0.8mm polycarbonate. Couple of rotations and the polycarbonate is scored plenty deep enough to be able to simply snap off the excess. Result is exactly what I was looking for.

Works pretty well.
Pretty good. It works mostly as I'd expect and it's compact and easy to use and I really like it, but I may need more practice to use it perfectly. The only complaints I would have is that if you use the little "foot" to not leave a hole in the center of what you cut then it may slide a bit unless you use something else to keep it in place. I've also had issue with the blade not properly reaching the materal when using the "foot". And I'd also add that if the material is more fragile but won't cut super easy it's possible to have it tear a larger center hole when not using the "foot". The one thing I'd like different is for there to be a way to adjust the blade so you can adjust the depth for when you have the "foot" on or off. But it's pretty good, I just need more practice and I'd probably recommend you fix whatever you're cutting so it can't move. But, for most applications I'd say it's good from the limited testing I've done.
