Please read before purchasing!
This is probably the first time I am writing a product review. I am passionate about cars and safety is one aspect I do admire. Therefore, I decided to change the standard headlamps to these Philip racing vision ones which are 150% brighter and totally road legal. They certainly give the car a very good look especially pleased me even though I had high expectations. The bulbs are 55W and totally legal. They don't have that much difference on normal street lighted roads. However, if you travelling on darker roads or on poorly lit roads this does wonders. Overall, don't be mistaken that you will see more powerful lights. They are more brighter with the same intensity and they reach out further and have better clarity on darker roads as the light is more on the whiter tone. This will help all customers to understand this product better and manage their expectations which would otherwise lead to negative reviews for a great product.

Happy with the light output
I had Philips 130% brighter bulbs fitted to the car which I was very happy with, but bought these when I found out that a 150% brighter bulb had been produced. The light from the units is whiter than the 130%'s and on road I would say they do offer more light and improve night visibility. My only concern is the reduced potential lifespan , but as they have only just gone in I will wait and see, but for now I am happy with the product.

It's bright
Definitely brighter than a standard lamp. However I had to replace one after 6 winter months ( should have replaced both really.) So not too sure of longevity. Well worth it all the same for poorly lit British roads...

Dont buy cheap Asian copies, its false economy.
I've bought these for every vehicle I've got, be it H7,H4, they are very well made, easy to fit, and do the job they're designed to do, light up the road ahead in a correct M.O.T. approved pattern, unlike cheap Chinese LED's that shine anywhere and blind oncoming motorists. They should be banned from sale in my opinion. The Philips H4 are what I bought for my 650 Burgman, that 150% more brightness does make a difference when out at night riding which I do most of. They are above OE standards, and last much longer. Let's face it Philip's make excellent quality goods.

A lot more light for a bit more dosh.
My previous car had high voltage xenon lights. My current car does not and I missed the whiteness and range of those Xenons. I replaced the standard halogens with these PHILIPS lamps 3 years ago and they have just failed within two weeks of each other. I have replaced them with some more of these PHILIPS lamps Definitely worth paying the extra.

Philips 12342RVS2 Racingvision + 150%...
A terrific difference!!!!! Was skeptical and changed them one at a time so I could make a comparison to the ordinary stock bulbs fitted, and was amazed at the difference. The standard bulb has a yellow hue where as these have a bright crisp white light. I was concerned that oncoming traffic would be dazzled, but had no indication of this from other road users. They have made a heck of a difference on the B roads I use a lot and would recommend these bulbs especially at the Amazon price!!!! Totally happy!!!

Great lamps
Bit expensive but very bright, got for the second car. Not as good as the leds on my main golf but not too far off and much better and even whiter than halogens already fitted.

Very bright but only 200 hours use and 6 month guarantee
I bought a pair of these on 27 December 17 and was very impressed with the very crisp white light which is visibly brighter but I noticed that the box stated a low number of hours life span. Thats the trade off. Its now 18 December 18 so not quite a year and one dipped head light has died in the cold wet dark. I do love fitting a car head light in the rain at night.... My OE bulbs were 6+ years and not failed just dimmer than they used to be. Time for some new long life bulbs so I don't have to fit new ones every December.

Ja, genauso SO. "kurz". In jedem Fall: KAUFEN !

Tolles Licht
