Good mobile phone
I replaced a Sony Xperia with this pixel 2. I found that the wifi worked well, the Bluetooth was adequate, texting was as easy but the phone, I thought, was an improvement in sound quality. System updates are delivered regularly which is nice, Sony seemed to consider that security updates were an optional extra. It runs faster than the Sony ( la2 model ). I'm happy with it.

Perfect!
I wasn't too sure about ordering a phone through Amazon but it came as new in the box with all the attachments. My only qualm is now I've had it for about 6 months there seems to be a problem with the camera. It occasionally has difficulty running the application. Not sure whether this is because I dropped it or it needs updating. Still, I am very happy with this phone.

Fast shipping. This is the only positive what I can tell.what i got for 240 pounds its a joke. the touch screen didnt response. this is a big problem in a touch screen phone, right? the package didnt include the charging cable as well... also the charger wasnt UK plug , but they attached a travel plug (uk) what doesnt have the fast charging feature. The phone's battery was totally empty. seriously? couldnt even turn on the phone. this means the battery wasnt 100% as well... absolutly rubbish for 240 pounds. Im happy I sent it back and got a refund.

This is shipped from Germany. Instructions are in German and the supplied wall plug is European
It's a great phone. My only problem is that buying this from Amazon UK, I expected to receive a UK handset. This was shipped from Germany, took 2 weeks to arrive (missed my Christmas Day deadline) and the instruction manual is all in German. The plug socket is also a European 2 pin type. Not to take away from the quality of the phone though

Make of it what you will
I really want to like this phone.. the pixels are always my first go-to for a clean Google experience.. but with Android 10 getting so locked down, bloated, and clunky, together with Pixel hardware being average with ever more demanding stock Android, OEMs getting faster with OTA updates, and similar stock bootloaders now, I'm wondering whether OEM options are better now

Absurd.
It's alright. Although I find it staggering that Google maps doesn't work properly due to some annoying bug where you can't stop it vibrating if it's in your pocket and you're walking. There's no way to turn it off. Google's own software doesn't work on it's own hardware. So I use citymapper instead. Stupid doesn't come close to describing it
