Great Pump for a large aquarium!
I've had this pump up and running for about a week now. It is installed as the return pump on a 300 gallon aquarium. So far it is really strong and quite. If you need a high-flow rate pump, I highly recommend this one. However, there are a few things you should be aware of:1 - Don't use the included nylon feet - they come off far too easily. And when they vibrate off, they get sucked into the intake (assuming you use it submersed like me) which increases vibration, causes restriction on the intake, and increased wear on the pump. Luckily I noticed this fairly quickly and was able to remove the feet from the intake. I now have the pump resting on a rubber vibration isolation matt. Much better and less to worry about.2 - This is a very high flow rate pump - it won't be 100% silent! As long as you expect a little bit of noise (mostly from vibrations) you will be happy.

Silent, powerful and energy efficient
Amazingly quite. More than enough power for my 210. This pump is not dead silent but it’s quite enough that I have it running inside the stand under my display tank without any issues.Update. After almost a year of use the pump still runs great. I have it feeding my external skimmer and a media reactor with out any problems. Two year review: still working quietly. The pump stopped working one day and come to find out it was because the impeller hadn’t been cleaned since I installed the pump. Once cleaned it was up and running again. This pump still pushes a lot of water even with about 5’ of head loss.
