Bleu Cat Tarot

These Siamese cat tarot cards are done in blue ink, rather than black and white. They are in adorable positions.

However, the cards themselves have some issues. The backs are pretty much uniform in terms of color except the last card (Ace of Balls) has a double mark across the middle. The faces of the cards have various color values. Some of the faces of the cards were so much darker than others. If the difference was slight, it wouldn't be a problem but when I was looking through the deck (which I always do) and I reached the 2 of Feathers this card was so obviously much darker with more of a darker cream background; some of the Fishes cards were a bit darker and the 7 of Fish looked like it had been printed twice, one imprint on top of the other as the lines were much darker. Starting with the Page of Balls, the cards began to get darker and darker and even develop a pinkish cast.I am giving it four stars because the idea is wonderful, the artwork and interpretation are wonderful, the enclosed booklet (whose pages were VERY consistent in terms of color and background) is wonderful and the packaging so much better than most tarot cards (I wish every tarot producer would use this kind of box instead of the cheap "tuck boxes"!).

First, the box is a sturdy one with ribbon for opening and strong magnetic closure. The LWB is well written and thorough, and includes illustrations. The card stock is sturdy, with matte finish on the card faces and semi-gloss on the backs. I have only gone through the deck once, accounting for all of the cards and getting a perfunctory feel for the deck. Many of the cards seem to readily correlate with the traditional RWS, with a few notable exceptions, which I will have to investigate later. The overall quality and bang for your buck is great. It is a very sweet deck that I am looking forward to becoming better acquainted with.

Being owned by a seal pointe Siamese Cat and two other cats I am truly an ailurophile! As soon as this deck arrived my one cat , Bella, ( not my Siamese, Binx, ) but Bella, ”my familiar ” was absolutely fascinated with the deck. I too felt drawn to it. The card stock is beautiful, the watercolor drawings on the cards are beautiful and best of all is the way the guide book was written from the viewpoint of her cat, which was cleaver and cute. I absolutely love using and adore this deck! One of my favorites out of numerous tarot decks in my collection! A must have for people who are owned by their cat(s)!

The cards are beautiful. The art work is simple yet beautiful. The packaging is exceptional. The cards come in a very nice hard cardboard box with the same kind of art that you find on the cards. It is the one f the nicest card boxes I have found with a deck of tarot cards. I am not impressed with the card stock that the cards are printed on. They will only ever serve as a collector item because the cards are printed on a kind of rough cardboard and I would be worried about using them for a reading and damaging the beautiful art. The book that it comes with is well written and a fun read. I am overall very happy with the purchase because it is a nice deck to add to my collection. I would have given it 5 stars if the cards were more suited to use for reading and not just looking at.

OMG! This is my first set of Tarot that I have ever purchased. My desire was that they would be larger then the general tarot cards but I did not want the Rider type cards. Therefore, I searched and searched, read reviews but had to go with my "feelings" . When these came forth I immediately lvd the art work and so I took my pennies and went for it! They have just arrived in my home and I welcomed them before I opened the box. THEY ARE LARGER then the normal cards and guys I wanted a larger deck. That was the most important then the artwork was next. OMG! I am so grateful and thankful and have not even used the cards yet!

I'm a cat person, so I was particularly excited about receiving these. The illustrations are adorable. I wish there had been a little more variety, but they are well done. The box is nice and sturdy--I normally don't keep the boxes, but I will probably hang onto this one. It comes with a booklet that explains things. The cards have a bit of a nap--not perfectly smooth--but I think that fits with the watercolor design.

These are adorable! The artwork is fantastic.The box is super nice. The rest not so much. The cards are flimsy and crease easily and the pages of the book are stuck together in places but I can live with that. Overall, I am loving it.

With so many grandchildren to buy for, I tend to look for little, but nice and interesting games, for the younger ones - I think these will fit the bill perfectly. I've bought other products from Orchard toys before and they have been successful.

It is truly a purrrrfect tarot deck for all those who are slaves to their cat friends lol. It reads well, comes in a nice sturdy box and the card stock is a little thick but nice and smooth. Little big for me to shuffle easily. The little book is great, has a lovely slant of cats of course. Suits are Plants, Feathers, Balls and Fishes of course! There is a great sense of mischief and fun through out this deck. I highly recommend this deck, to collectors, newbies and pros.

Mit diesem Deck ist es ein Kinderspiel. Man gewöhnt sich super schnell daran und es gibt wirklich direkte Antworten, ohne Scheu, das ist mir wichtig. Manchmal muss man auch ein bisschen schmunzeln.
