Very good idea for travel in the tropics and of the beaten track. I have travelled widely (adventure traveller and not a tourist) since the 1980's in 3rd world, rural and remote locations.Although one can buy fungal treatments and disinfectants over the counter, somehow they do not always work, whereas the old traditional Potassium Permanganate and iodine lasts and never fails to kill fungal foot infection and bacteria's. This has been used for more than 100 years and bacteria has not developed a resistance to it. Unlike antibiotic topical creams and tablets. If you use it wisely and do your research on ratio's to water for the various tropical skin conditions and water purification etc it is the perfect addition to one's survival kit. One vial is enough to last a good few months on a trip, it is light, easy to carry and mix with water.

Having trouble getting from health food shop, like I used to.Handy stuff:Light fires (takes a spark when mixed with sugar)Disinfectant- mix with water until pink for drinking water (leave 10 minutes) - mix until purple for sterilising stuff/ / food/wounds etcUse to show up splinters when rubbed in skin with spitUse few drops on snow for expanding emergency markerOther uses too, won't go into for reasons of hysteria in the Scare Age.

great product, get loads in a vial for how much you use (one or two crystals purifies 1l, crystals are very small). only gripe is that it is hard to get only a small number out of the vile. i use a cocktail stick or something like that. will last a very long time, could only guestimte how many liters it will purify, but i would go for in the thousands, from obne vial. i have one in each med kint in the house and one in my camping med kit and water kit.

Arrived faster than advertised and well packaged with good cautionary information included.Read up on potassium permanganate before you use these, because if you truly are in need of it, you don't want to mess up and make matters worse by having it where it shouldn't be.

Service was fast and product was well packed. You get a lot of potassium Permanganate your money. A bargain and a half for such a useful bit of camping/prepping kit. Fantastic

Good stuff! Tho nobody seems to mention that it doesn't work well if it's cold. It's about 10-12c where I live and have only got it to work when inside! Not expensive tho so I'm just going to wait till summer and try again.

Peut même faire du feu en l'associant à d'autres composants facilement trouvables mais risqué quant à sa mise en oeuvre avec risque de projection (yeux) et brulures. A garder dans une pharmacie loin de vaseline, produit gras... risque de combustion spontanée. Préférez d'autres solutions moins risquées
