Gemstone Box

Very happy with this. Prompt arrival, safely packaged and a beautiful; collection of good quality stones. I bought this for my six year old son who is showing an interest in both treasure chests and fossils right now.

I had taken note of the dimensions of the box but I was still surprised by how small it was. Having said that it was also very reasonably priced and an ideal stocking filler for my son (6) who is currently quite fascinated by rocks and minerals. He was very pleased to have it in his collection and he can always get something bigger if the interest continues.

After reading the reviews I thought this would only have teeny tiny stones in but it actually contains a few of the nugget size you find in gift shops when you visit zoos etc. There are some smaller stones included aswell. I've bought this as a little stocking filler for one of my daughters but it's a present I can't wait to see her open because I know she'll love it!

Lovely stones, and plenty of them but I wish there was written information with it that helps you to identify what stones they are. Not sure whether many of them are just coloured glass, however some look like genuine gemstones.

my 9 year old son was thrilled with this, he loves fossils and gemstones and really enjoyed looking at all of the stones, please note that there are some very small pieces so would not be suitable for younger children

Absolute bargain and my child loves it! Lots of beautiful stones of all shapes and sizes, with only a few named so that they go looking in books and on the Internet to find out what the other ones are. The box is small but it is cheap and filled to the brim. Worth every penny and a great way to start a collection, if that's what you / your child likes to do.

These things always look bigger in the pictures and this is another example.Check the dimensions to avoid disappointment.I liked it though as there was a lot of little gem stones in there, although small pieces. Was ok for my 6 year old, probably not a good idea for younger.

They are beautiful and just the right size ..just one small problem is they could have come in a better box

J'ai acheté cette boîte pour la collection de mon fils. La boîte est petite et dans les pierres reçues, 2 sont de la taille d'une pièce d'un euro, toutes les autres ont plus ou moins la taille d'un haricot sec. J'aurais vu cette boîte dans une boutique je ne l'aurais pas prise. Mais elles sont jolies quand même.
