Swanwick Night Swannies Classic - 99% Superior Blue Light Blocking Computer Glasses for Better Night Sleep and Reduce Eyestrain - (Black) Regular

So far so good - after I ended up in A&E with Episcleritis (severe/persistent redness in the white part of the eye) without conclusive cause of the condition, I started to look into causes of eye strain in general... and blue light blocking came to my attention, since I was binge-watching movies 3-4 hours in bed on my mobile device every now and then, prior to ending up in A&E. So far something like 4 days of wearing Swannies at all times when I am at computer, and not using mobile devices in bed, I cannot quantify how much it has been helping, but I do certainly notice it is gentler to the eyes and the eyes are less strained. I have prescription glasses (13cm width), and Swannies which has a 14cm width sits perfectly on top. I am wearing two pairs of glasses on top of each other but it feels very light and I hardly notice now. Obviously I am planning to wear Swannies with contact lens eventually once my eye is treated. There are cheaper options, but I'm happy with what I paid for - I like the quality of the goods - superlight frame with decent spring mechanism. Style-wise it's very sleek - overall very good in terms of functionality and style.PS: I just wanted to add that Swanwick does "fitover" range, specifically fitting over the prescription glasses. In my case the standard Swanwick fits because my frame is smaller than average frames.

I debated about these as it seemed a lot to pay and wondered if one of the other cheaper pairs would work just as well. Well I don't have the answer to that as I didn't buy any of the other ones for comparison. But these Swannies are great - they sit nicely on top of my prescription glasses and people looking at me don't immediately notice I have 2 pairs of glasses on (indeed the first reaction was "nice glasses"), I can see perfectly well through them both for my laptop (which is why I bought them) but also for walking around the house; I am not aware of any deterioration in my ability to see whilst wearing them although you might think there would be. They also seem to reduce eye strain and I do have the assurance (I think) of the lenses being high quality lenses which will not harm my vision in any way. I had wondered if the very orange colour of the lenses might reduce my vision, but I really don't think it does at all and it is possible/likely that they work so well because of the tint of the glass. So all in all I am glad I bought these ones. I am going to wear them a lot, so maybe it isn't a lot to pay. The only drawback is that if I look up or down I can see white light beyond the area they cover, but I am not sure that matters as in normal use of them I am not aware of this; a wrap-around style wouldn't look as nice and also might not fit over my prescription glasses as well.

The Swanwick glasses are great at soothing the eyes from the harsh digital screen light, and everything becomes a nice warm amber tone when wearing these glasses.I was surprised at how many people in the office have commented on how 'cool' my glasses look due to the noticeably amber coloured lenses.The glasses are obviously not a wrap around the face type so you do get some external normal light leaking in from above and below the lenses, but then the glasses are designed to look relatively normal so that they can be used in social or work environment.I am on the whole very happy with these glasses, and the only real improvement that I could think of would be for some sort of padding or cushioning to be put in place for the nose area as I personally find that the plastic digs into the skin on my nose and leaves a mark when I remove them, but this obviously goes away after a short period.Hopefully this honest review will help others with there decision on if they'd like to purchase a pair of these glasses too.

Glasses are fantastic, I've always had my eyes hurting when I'm on my PC. Now I wear them everyday, since the day I received them my eyes don't hurt anymore, maybe a bit there and here since I spend a lot of time on PC. A bit pricey, but in the 2 weeks that I've had them, they fell multiple of times, and not even a scratch. I use them to go everywhere, from home, to meetings. I used to have the PC rays going through my eyes, causing me a migraine, and effecting my nerve from the neck to the back, it's gone now thanks to these glasses.I personally use them to protect my eyes from blue light and rays, which left me less tense then before.I've not been payed for this review, this is an honest review from me personally.Glasses may not work for everyone 100%, since my problem was coming from outside, these glasses helped me more then I thought. I will though be recovering from years of not protecting my eyes.

I’ve been wearing the Swanies whilst working at the laptop and for 2 hours before sleep for about a week now and I’m really pleased at the positive effects. I’d bought and returned a cheaper pair of computer glasses with yellow lenses before as I hadn’t noticed any difference so was unsure about buying these. The Swanies are comfortable to wear and feel and look like good quality. Results so far: when wearing them before bed I feel more relaxed and go to sleep a lot quicker. The next morning I wake earlier feeling less tired. Using them whilst working at the laptop and using my iPhone has already helped my eyes feel more rested. By wearing them I’ve also become more conscious, and practice, good pre-sleep habits such as not reading the news just before sleep, meditation / mindfulness, a cooler bedroom temperature and turning lights lower in the house etc. Do they work in isolation? Yes, but I’m convinced now that they help my eyes and sleep when combined with other good habits. I was 50/50 before buying them. I’m now convinced and have bought a pair of Swanies for my wife.

Materials feels durable and strong. They fit and stay on my head nicely.These are my first blue light blocking glasses so i have nothing really to compare them to. Whether or not they help me sleep better after for example watching a movie late at night is yet to be seen. I cannot tell yet as the sample size(the days of wearing them) is still too small. I recieved them one week ago and already got 3 messages to review them, woudlve otherwise waited for at least few weeks.However, what i did notice from the few days i did wear them so far is i got more tired than usual during the movie, which in itself is a good sign.

My friend has glasses like this. Albeit his cost a lil more (about £40 more) but tbh i should of paid the extra. These do the job but it distorts color so much that functioning in these is very difficult. I'm a programmer so constantly reading code but hard to see the text with these. Making them useless, To reiterate. My friends glasses by a more known brand (£90) work the same but they don't blind you like these do. I doubt i'll be using these much unless i get a bad migraine. But they will impede my work. Perhaps for 'watching TV' or even 'playing games' you could get away with it. But heavy reading, writing or coding will probably cause more eye strain than it saves.

These glasses have had a huge impact on my sleep and my evening experience. I feel like I fall asleep quicker whilst wearing Swannies 1 hour before bed and my mind is much more relaxed in the evenings. If you take them off in the evening after you've been wearing them for a period, and look at the blue light say a lamp or your phone you can see why these glasses are so effective the blue light is so powerful and puts your eyes under strain whilst chemically inside of you messing you up. People try a pair of these glasses, give them a go and I guarantee they will have a profound impact on your sleep quality and therefore your life. Peace Out, Rory.

Livraison parfaite, beau packaging.Je déteste porter des lunettes mais je dois dire que celle-ci me font du bien.Pour être honnête ce n'est pas toujours agréable de devoir les enlever surtout quand on travail sur des photos (car le filtre jaune fausse la perception des couleurs), sinon c'est parfait pour éviter une trop grosse fatigue des yeux.Le look est dégueulasse, on dirait Obispo dans les années 90 ou le chanteur de U2 à la même époque, mais dans un cadre privé/pro cela fait le job.

長時間画面を見つめる仕事に長年従事してきましたが、ここ最近になって視野が欠ける・暗順応が遅い・ピントがあいにくいなどの諸症状が出て、病院で厄介な眼病の診断がつきました。それでも仕事ですので画面を見つめないわけにはいきません。休憩を取りながらだましだまし仕事を進めていましたが、作業の後には症状が重くなって困ってました。以前は国産の大衆メーカーのブルーライトカットメガネを使っていましたが、この商品はレベルが違います。写真は手前がもともと使っていたブルーライトカットメガネ（古くてすみません）。奥がこの商品です。レンズの色の濃さも全く違いますが、レンズに映る照明の反射具合を見るといかにこの商品が青い光を跳ね返すかが一目瞭然です。実際に使ってみましたが、目の疲れも段違いに軽減されました。代わりに、以下のような問題点が生まれます。・装着時の見た目が普通のメガネとかけ離れている（私は在宅ワークなので問題になりませんでした）・装着時、オレンジの世界になる　・白はオレンジに見えます。　・青と緑は区別がつかなくなります。　・黒地に青の文字はほとんど見えなくなります。そうはいっても目の健康には替えられません。この先、画面を見つめるときは常にこの眼鏡を着用すると思います。価格も高いですが、高くてもいいので質のよいものを探していました。大変満足です。

Lo dicho las he pedido dos veces, y en ambos casos las he tenido que devolver porque la montura estaba torcida. En la web de Swanwick, comentan que las gafas se pueden llegar a moldear aplicando calor en el puente ó en las patillas, al estar hecha la montura de Acetato. Pero cuando unas gafas las compras nuevas lo que esperas es que vengan perfectas, no torcidas con un lado más alto que el otro. Y menos aún que si las devuelves y las compras otra vez, te vuelvan a llegar igualmente torcidas. Tenía mis dudas con estas gafas, dado que había visto que han tenido una campaña de marketing muy fuerte en EEUU, con anuncios en teletienda y demás. Y si reconozco que son un pelín caras en relación calidad-precio, aunque la lente tengo que decir que me gustó pues aunque se ve todo anaranjado con ellas, también se ve todo con claridad y nitidez. Aún así 60€ me parece demasiado. Pero lo dicho, atención a cliente pésima, dos gafas pedidas y las dos torcidas. Lógicamente no lo volveré a intentar una tercera vez y probaré otra marca.Además en amazon.com veo que hay mucha gente que le ha pasado lo mismo, y si aún así siguen enviando gafas torcidas pues no dice mucho de la marca.

Great glasses, I like the look and they do the job they state in description. They fit well, even if my head is a bit bigger than average.I like to put them on at about 830pm, and I’m able to do nearly everything with them on. I can feel some affect after a couple of weeks, it’s good to be consistent with them.It’s also super loverly that the business owners reach out and make sure everything has gone well with the delivery/use.
