Self Heating Field Ration Pack Ready To Eat Meal Menu E

As a commercial heating contractor - I sometimes get caught out at work, with no easy way to get food while working long hours in cold conditions. I bought one of these (Menu E) and it sat in the van for 3 months not getting used, until last week when I had to work a long day, into the evening. It was so great to have a hot meal on site. The food was very tasty and satisfying with decent chunks of chicken. I've immediately re-ordered the exact same meal to stay in the van as a replacement. Only complaint, the little red sweets, the packaging was stuck to them - so made them difficult to eat.

The chicken curry was unbelievably delicious, when I first opened the main pouch I was skeptical but when you actually taste it it's amazing. The sweets are nice but the orange ones are horrible, the isotonic drinking water was fine. The ration bar was god awful just stop with the raspberry flavour, the cerial bar was bland but very ediable.My overall opinion is that the full pack isn't worth your money, but the if they sell the food pouch and heater separately from the rest I would be buying a lot more of those and would be very handy for meals for work if it was more affordable. My complements to whoever made the curry recipe.

Overall the main meal was really nice and was pleasantly surprised! The orange flavour powder to add to water took forever to dissolve but overall tasted great!

What can say I really liked there's mre like meals. Great for going hiking with when you need a hot meal in the middle of nowhere was pretty decent. Except for the ginger biscuits they where stale but everything else was good would definitely buy again.

surprisingly awesome! the self heating is done by chemical reaction. add a little water to the heating pouch and presto! very very hot food. Had curry chickens so far & tastes about like you would expect from any processed/canned food. Perfectly edible & perfect for ready made hot meal for hiking/camping. No fresh fruit so i always also pack an apple alongside etc, also the extra packet stuff like coffee etc normally gets left behind to save weight, though for the self heating main and dessert alone its worth the price. Will buy again.

Great stuff. I can't afford real army rations but wanted some kits to take camping with me as an experiment. These are well thought out and contain everything you could need for a decent day's worth of food and snacks. You also get the flameless heater, cutlery and plastic bags to store the bits in. Very good price too. I will have to report back once I've tasted the food inside haha!

Had everything in it and tasted pretty good which was surprising because im a fussy eater. The heat package did kind of explode but i think that was cause i did it wrong as it was the first time ive done one and my friends one didnt. The was a minute when the product got lost in delivery but it was only a day late.
